I'm looking for barbershop for men to get a haircut.
Where can I find a decent one for less than $25?

Thanks its updated now
I get random results, sometimes it's on an angle, or the staff doesn't speak English, etc.
Do you want a hair cut or an English lesson?
I want them to do what I want
F10 quick cut
as seen on OzB

what, you want them to pay you? lol
It's only first visit.
I want to build the understanding with them@boohooimissout: Sounds "high maintenance" lol
While we're at it, what's a good one in the Blacktown area?
Stylez on Main St is where I used to go.
If you're South West - Gold Fingers Barber - Bonnyrigg
$25 for haircut.. rip off. Do you give your hair as well as money?
Can't tell you the best one, but I CAN tell you the most expensive barber in NSW.
RojoPelli Hairdresser & Barber in Mittagong.
$36.50 for a number 2 on the sides and cut up the top.
This would have to be the most expensive haircut I have EVER had.
Pretty sure there is a $70 or more in cbd
Style plus on George st at Haymarket is $12 but my daughter reckons they should pay me.
I hear rumours that there is a barber in Hurstville for $5, but it could be a myth.I heard $8. Maybe inflation
Trouble is, everyone who tells me about it says it with the "can you believe it" attitude that people would be tight enough to risk their appearance to save a couple of bucks. I grab them and promise I would. I think they then keep it secret for my own good.
Nowadays it is $7 at Hurstville. Two doors away from Swiss Concept.
Is it good?
I'm always pleased with it and my wife approves.
Hornsby, $10. Just after the fake grass section.
Where is this? All I know is 16-20 in mall area
Corner of Muriel and Burdett
there are many.. the ones where they dont speak english. there is a machine when u walk in. slip in a $10 note it spits out a ticket…. u know the ones, there are millions of them. 85% of them are great.
I have never seen this in Australia. Sounds interesting.
they are just like holes in the wall in shopping centers, very small. all asian cutters and they all have a sign that says $10. never cut my hair anywhere else in about 5 years.
Entrance of central station tunnel (from railway square) there is a shop at lower level which cuts hair for 10$. Been going there for 6+ years now.
Recommend these guys (Shiny Star Hairdressing) as well. Upstairs used to be $10 too.
in wynyard CBD. hunter connection. sydney barbers. mens for 20$
The Korean one?
Nah i think they are arabs
Never seen
@boohooimissout: near soul orgin. They are opposite the flower shop. Level 2 below the foodcourt and above the Korean hair dressers.
@Jonski: thanks
Yeah the lebs in hunter connection do a good haircut for $20. Also good for a laugh and talk about the weekend footy. Used to go there once a month when i was working in the city. Good guys.
Hectic Hairstyles @ Arncliffe.
Is part of the consideration wheher you are paying enough for the person cutting your hair to earn a livable wage? It's easy ignore this, a 'bargain' at the expense of someone else. I guess it depends on many minutes your haircut takes too.
In Melbourne I find the going rate for a decent barber is $25. I can go somewhere cheaper though may need to wear a hat for a couple of weeks after or I am turning a blind eye to worker exploitation.
What do you consider to be a liveable wage? I go to a barber in Chatswood, $15, usually very busy, they have 3 or 4 barbers on the go, turn a customer around in under 10 mins. Not sure how much of that the barber sees, but it would seem ok.
Agree. If they can't live with $8,they should charge more. If they don't get enough customer then they should find another job.
So they sit you down, put the apron on, cut your hair, fix up your neck, check the result and pay for it all in 10 mins? I guess you get what you pay for.
Most, not all, the barbers around Central Station Sydney and in the Haymarket region on or near Elizabeth street are under $20 and quite good. The difference between a good and a bad haircut is two weeks.

Exactly
$10 for a haircut if you go to Auburn.
Same at Greenacre. Get a fade then go grab some manoush from the bakery.
I go to R and G Hairdressing. The price is around that number and they have a barber in the city but its quite hidden. Their main one in Kingsgrove is $1 dollar cheaper but the people are quite nice. Its definitely a plus if you want to have a conversation as well.
I am looking for one too!
Men's cuts or women's cuts? I've never had to pay more than $22~23 for a haircut from any barbershop, unless you want your hair washed as well.
