      Wont recommend it because 3rd party docks have been bricking switches. It shouldn't with joycons but better not risk it since they are like $100 a pair

      I'd say close to none, if any.

      Third party docks are frying switches because of Nintendo's dodgy implementation of the USB-C standard. This is an issue when trying to negotiate high powered charging (up to 15V/2.6A).

      The joycons themselves charge at 500mA (5V/0.5A). I would be very surprised if there was any issue with frying your joycons, when the draw is so low, and the chargers themselves are rated at similar levels (no chance of it negotiating the wrong power).

      Show me one example of a joycon being fried by a charger, and I'll eat my hat. (There are plenty reports about Switches being fried by docks, but I haven't seen ANY reports of joycons, or even Switches, being fried by a charger.)

      Yep same here, was working earlier. I suggest trying it again later or tomorrow as I found that some of the Rosegal coupons get reset and become available again even days later.

    I have one of the switch joycon chargers and it is working fine. I just plugged it in to one of the switch usb ports and sit it to the side. I have not tried to use the USB ports on the front of the charger.
