Bought this tv last week from appliances central. Came quickly!

Great TV and with a few adjustments (look on youtube for advice) found great value
Pity the crappy NBN hasn't rolled out and cannot get 4k Streaming.

    • I purchased this TV a few weeks ago and looked on the net but havent been able to find any specific videos/instructions re adjustments. Do you have any particular ones you recommend.
Still very happy with the TV, agree great value for the money

takes away the reds and makes it sharper

        • How's this TV for watching just normal free to air channels? Thinking of getting one for the parents who just watch the news and whatever is on free to air.

          @montorola:
Its great for normal tv mate especially HD channels
The normal chanels and 720 look a bit miffed but anything HD is great

        • @couq:

Awesome thanks mate, might pull the trigger

        • Cheers. Much appreciated

        • yep that's the same one I used. I like all their settings except for the HDR night mode where I find their picture too dark. So increased the brightness from 50 to 57

    • You should be able to 4k stream on a really good ADSL connection or cable?

  • Can someone with this TV let me know how it is for gaming?

  • Why is this the new TV for Ozbargain? :)

Can someone tell me how it goes with ARC Dolby Digital 5.1 pass through? I've been reading that some settings keep getting reset when rebooting?

  • Can anyone here tell me any differences between the 65N7 and the 65N8? I know it's a different panel but can't seem to find any specs or other feature differences. In store I like the image of the N7 more than the N8, but don't want to get buyers regret if there's something glaringly different that I should pay more for on the N8.

    • Apparently there is no major upgrade to be had getting the N8. Not to justify the extra dollars anyway.

Showing as $68 shipping to metro Sydney - thus $1436 delivered.

    • Deal starts at 6pm I think

      • +2

        Nope $1436 it is.

The quoted price seems only to apply to Melbourne metro. Everywhere else attracts a hefty delivery fee.

  • Do your homework and check out their eBay feedback ,negative and neutral ,especially on TVs.

I dont NEED a new tv but have been watching this. For so long.

I've put a hard line barrier of $1300. If it goes under that I buy. If it doesn't, I save my money. I doubt it will go under that (but thats the point)

    • Hahaha me too, but mine's at 1k
