I've been looking for a new 65" TV for a while now and keep seeing the Hisense pop up on Ozb. I've done some research and it seems the N7's get rave reviews while the N8's don't get reviewed as highly - does anyone know why?
From what I've found the main difference between the two is the stand and the speaker placement, can anyone with a bit more knowledge shed some light on the differences?
Also, N8 has better inbuilt speakers - 2 tweeter, 4 mid-range, 2 woofer vs 2/2/0 for N7.
I think this would be the most noticeable difference honestly unless you get a dedicated sound bar.
Read the Whirlpool threads on the Hisense ULED range of TVs before you purchase one.
I have so much regret about purchasing one myself, it's been no end of annoyances, and Hisense Australia's support for firmware updates has been almost non-existent compared to overseas regions.
Which one in particular the N5/N6/N7/N8?

N7 or N8 or older ?
I had a hisense earlier model and it was so bad and took it back. But it was one of the first UHD's they sold. Was too slow on the refresh But that model is long gone.
I keep hearing good reports on the N7 was thinking of the 65N7.
From what I understand… 65n7 runs a Samsung panel, vs 65n8 having either AUOptronics or Innolux. The 65n8 gets brighter, but at the cost of less dark blacks.
Also the n7 has silver bevels while the n8 is black.
