Marginal savings (10%), but first time I've seen it discounted.
cf. $30 on switch.
Really just a shout-out to the game.

8/10 Polygon
Did they play the game before dragging identity politics into the review though?
Worth paying the extra if you have a switch!
There will be an easter sale on the switch tomorrow, so maybe wait to see if its discounted there before you get it on steam
How do you know about eshop sales?
Was announced on twitter, and reported on various sites.

I’ve been umming and aaring about whether to use my switch or laptop for playing some of these particularly well reviewed indie games (eg. Celeste, Steamworld Dig 2, Shovel Knight).
I’ve only been using the switch for first party / exclusive games, and have largely played them in handheld (except for BoTW).
I enjoy using my laptop instead - nice to have it on 15” display, I like the way if runs, can quickly pause and google something while playing simultaneously, have the option of downloading the game on another PC (and stored away on Steam), and cheaper costs cf. the eShop. I don’t find portability is too much of a difference - noticeably heavier to carry (only very short distances for me), but my laptop only has a low tier graphics chip (enough for these sort of indies) so it’s still comparatively not heavy and doesn’t heat-up especially resting on my lap or stomach.
I’m yet to hear anyone choose laptop over switch for these titles when they own a switch, so keep wondering if I’m missing out.
I totally know where you are coming from. Just try one game on switch vs PC and you will probably be hooked. Practically instant loading to just where you left off, play anywhere at any time cough toilet cough or slouching on the couch. I now hold off indie purchases to see if they release on Switch such as Hollow Knight as it won't just sit on my pile of shame!
So you're asking if a 15" inch screen is better to play on than 6"?
fantastic game. next steam sale isn't until june so don't see it getting much cheaper than this until then.
if you like Super Meat boy this is a must buy it will scratch the same itch for you
Have you played The End is Nigh?
yeh love all nicilas / McMillan games.
Excellent 2D platformer - highly recommended. Solid visuals and soundtrack which makes the punishing levels a bit more tolerable. Has a decent storyline too. This game has been well reviewed on loads of sites (10/10 ign.com, 93% Metacritic, 8/10 Polygon according to Google). If you think it sounds up your alley, I would suggest grabbing it - can't see it being discounted steeply for while given it's popularity.
