Hey all. I want to get a monitor stand something like this: www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/deepcool-monitor-s… , but it looks like Officeworks don't sell these anymore.
Does anyone have any suggestions for something similar? I just want something simple and clean like the stand I linked. My monitor base is 500mm wide and I'm in Adelaide, so something I could pick up locally would be preferred.
I'm not against a DIY solution, but that one sounds pretty dodgy :p
I've had a basic Fellowes monitor stand for years now. I like it because it's adjustable and it fits my laptop underneath well when hooking it up to a monitor. May be worth a keyword search.

Get a counterbalanced monitor arm provided your monitor has VESA mounting points.
Phonebooks work well. I have a 2010 edition shrink wrapped bundle holding mine up.
They aren't useful for anything else
