Hey,
I'm looking for a nice jacket to take with me to Japan.
Under $100 would be nice, but I don't mind spending more for a nice jacket.
What stores are the best for jackets?
Thanks

Try Asos.
Also try uniqlo in Japan.
You could try your luck at your local TK Maxx.
They have a range of decent (and awful) clothing at reduced prices.
I picked up one from amazon. Just waiting for it to be delivered.

Uniqlo Ultra Light Down Jacket. It even folds into a pillow, perfect for those smooth Japanese train rides.
That's a pretty good price, I think it was 6,000 yen + tax in Japan
Buy from a Uniqlo store in Japan - cheaper than Uniqlo in Australia.
Best jacket I ever bought was a Kathmandu one with ngx. And one from Zara.
Kathmandu is amazing, everything proof, great for travel, constant compliments, but amazingly expensive too.
$$$
That's pretty much the only reason I never go into Myers or Kathmandu, even when there is a sale on.
That said, I've been using a windproof outer shell jacket from Kathmandu that I purchased in 2004.
It has endured some pretty rubbish weather and 14 years later, it just got me through a very chilly stint European stint in February this year.
Aldi had a 3-in-1 jacket (rain jacket and polar fleece which can zip together) for $60 in their camping sale which started last saturday, so may still have some stock. I don't have one so not able to comment on the quality.
Nice Jacket for your budget. :)
