Been in the market for the dyson hairdryer. Never seen it on sale but noticed tonight DJ was offering $50 DJ gc for any dyson hairdryer purchase. For those who bought the 20% off dj gc from paypal/ebay deal Yesterday and also wanting a Dyson hair dryer, this seems like a pretty good stacked deal.

You gotta admit it is a pretty stellar example of a status gift.
Bought one for the mrs before xmas for $430 then dyson themselves had a boxing day sale for $399. So yes maybe once a year they go on sale.
Looks good but am I the only one who just cannot imagine spending $500 (actually over $50 is torture already) for a hairdryer?
same can be said about spending 700 on a vacuum, 1.6k on a phone and 300k on a car. Just thought incase ppl who wanted this blower and also bought the 20% DJ gift cards would bring it down to about $350.
Supersonic? False advertising? Does the air really flow though the hair dryer at speeds faster than the speed of sound?
On a more serious note, this costs 10 times more than what a hair dryer could possibly be worth. Apple, take note.
