Are there seriously any joysticks out there that are 4 way? What is this - 1980???
No, but some people play 1980s games on MAME etc, that freak out if you hit a diagonal. ;-)
A lot of arcade joysticks (ie the ones they put in arcade machines) come with a "gate" so you can set them to 4-way control only for exactly this reason.
I have one and i think when you rotate the stick, it makes a square. it works, but isn't my favourite.

Amazon gives it a 4 out of 5 rating on average, some reviews give it a flogging on button layout and slugginess.
Apparently works with MAME and SNES emulaters as well.
Damn out of stock, was going to pick up a pair.

this is cheap considering i bought it for $98 also at GAME

Oh, because I couldn't post anything within 24 hrs after the sign up with ozbargain, that's why. Sorry they already all gone guys.
These sticks aren't very good, I believe they also have soldered buttons? Then again the prices is pretty low.
I'd rather pick up a TE stick again, shame my connection with iiNet is flaky.
Do me a favour? Test if the stick is 4 or 8 way.
