Can't be stuffed..
Might buy this for the Mrs now.
$11 mate. Price is ex GST and when you go to the checkout it's put on top.
Isn't that illegal?
Not if it's stipulated which I can see it is. I'd say these guys cater more for commercial on the assumption they claim input tax credits back…
No it clearly states ex gst on pricing and we are Commercial Industry Supplier to the Hospitality Industry.
Advertising without GST seems to be a common theme of businesses who primarily sell Business to Business (B2B). Another example of a website that does not display inclusive GST is Element14 (who sells internationally)
According to the ACCC
Component Pricing
When you present prices to your customers, you must state the total price of the good or service as a single figure, which is the minimum total cost that is able to be calculated. This should include any tax, duty, fee, levy or other additional charges (e.g. GST or airport tax).
This rule generally does not apply in business-to-business transactions. This means you do not need to include GST if a price statement is made exclusively to businesses.
still looks cheaper than elsewhere….
Well, no. You can buy it at HN, kitchenwarehouse etc. for $19. That is with GST.
The only bonus would be if you are a hermit who never comes out, so this is delivered straight to the door.
Plus $8.95 shipping (NSW)
Plus $1 taxes
$19.95 delivery to Brisbane. Where is the saving?
Does this work with the KSM90?
I can't wait for the comments!!
