Just been to coles and saw all schick on 50% including the new hydro 5 range.
For those who missed the chem warehouse deal this might be worth a visit.

how does this compare to Marc 3 turbo? Did anyone try both? Would like to know your thoughts.
I have used the gilette proglide 5 blade one and i quite like the schick hydro 3 blade. Its comparable if not better.
I find shick hyrdo 3 better than gillette 5 pro….since using shick from last couple of years i only bought gillette once and got disappointed…decided better to stick to shick…
Schick Quattro vs Mach 3 (and turbo) was much the same when both were made in Germany,
but now mach 3 production has been moved to Poland , Malaysia ect , quality has diminished.
Stick with Schick.
Yay! I love the Schick Hydro Silk, have stocked up for the next year or so from the last sale though :P
My understanding is that the only schick worth buying now is the Hydro 5 and the Quattro because they are still made in Germany? From what I've read all the others are made in a different factory in a different country?
Please note: Germany != quality
Germany == Beer!
.. and sauercraut
Fully Schick deal!
You should look at switching to a safety razor. You save a ridiculous amount of money compared to cartridge razors. Multiple blades and gel strips are unnecessary and just a marketing gimmick. One blade does just as good of a job.
True,but the comfort of not getting into hassle of chaning blades is more appealing….i used them for such a long time…but gaveup . being bit lazy….
You should look at switching to a cut throat razor. You save a ridiculous amount of money compared to cartridge and safety razors. One blade for 30+ years does just as good a job. ;-p
Seriously though, does this work out cheaper than the $1 per day or whatever it is, where they post the razors out to you?
I've been able to make my cartridge blades stay sharp 6+ months using the glide-down-the-forearm method maybe popularised by this guy (and also on LifeHacker).
I discovered just now that isopropyl alcohol and mineral oil do wonders too.
I just use my towel to linish my razor before every use .
Seems to work better on some blades,
but if you can do the denim thing and dry your razor after use it's probably better

Why doesn't his video have more likes?! Hahaha
I agree. These cartridge razor blades are such a rip off. A top of the range double edged blade like Feather (made in Japan) performs much better than a cartridge blade and costs $0.35 a blade.
Feather is amazing, never found anything better and they last a very long time! It seems crazy that people spend so much money on the carts. I feel like its a no-brainer to switch to a safety razor.
Can you quickly and easily shave your head with one ?
@Sleepyweasel: I don't personally shave my head but from a quick Google yes, it is possible - people do it. Just go slow and steady at first until you get used to the new razor.
Just when you think you were about to pay retail price, then this pops up. Great deal on the Schick Quattro 8 pack refills. Thanks for the info! This is why I love OZ Bargain.
