  I still can't fathom how they can charge people for tickets to these things. Having to pay to see stuff you may want to buy .. just doesn't make any sense.

    Agree, none of these shows should need a payment to attend.

    That's said, my son talked me into going and I was going to pay. Saved me some cash.

    I guess part of it might be that if you make something obviously free then tons of people will grab tickets perhaps with little intention of using them. I think that for most of these shows it's not so hard to find ticket discounts and freebies if you are really interested.

    yeah, it's why i generally don't attend them. But, I did go to a camping one a few months ago which had 'live cooking shows'.. They were trying to sell their product obviously but they were also showing you how to cook properly over a camp fire and how to make a good tasting damper etc. It was worth the $5 cover charge.

  This one also has Jase and Simon from All 4 Adventure doing a meet and greet and a few demonstrations/talks. On the Sunday they'll be drawing the main caravan/4x4 giveaway prize that they have been advertising on their show for the past few months.
