Got yet another pair, thanks OP. Love these! Had a pair since they were released and they're still going strong. Not sure why but I even prefer them to the later 'Pro' model but they're both very, very good all the same.
Don't ever buy from Gearbest I bought a Xiaomi hybrid pro and after 5 months they stopped working Have tried a zillion times to contact them via a ticket but that program does not work. I did a live chat and sent messages but got brushed off saying that they only deal with per sales and any after sales you need to submit a ticket Worse ever customer service A big no no
While it sucks, have people gotten after sales help from these overseas retailers? When I buy from these companies, I don't expect a warranty.
I've had a perfectly fine aftersales support from Gearbest. Got walky talkies for my kid for xmas. One was faulty/DOA, they refunded even though it was outside the DOA 7 day timeperiod after I explained you don't check a xmas present before opening (or maybe you should…). Buying via paypal is a good idea.
Gearbest have always been excellent for me whenever an issue arrived.
That's weird I lodged a ticket recently and they responded within 24-48 hrs. I suggest you contact the rep here with your ticket number and she will sort it for you.
I cannot get send it through to lodge the ticket. After pressing submit, it does the Wheelies for about 5 mins and comes back to the original page. I have used different browsers, computers mobile phone etc , same results.
Oh I see, you can still contact the rep via PM on OzBargain with your order number and they will create the ticket on your behalf but you should allow 1-2 business days for a reply.

But at least their F***king ticket system to register the problem should work right!
And on their website it says one year repair warranty.
But from my experience with Australia Post, it will cost almost the product's value to post them to the seller in China for "free repair"!
I ordered a pair of the Pro version of these from gearbest in January (and paid USD$3.50 extra for faster delivery of 5-10 days)
After 7 weeks they hadn't arrived - despite parcel tracking showing they arrived in Australia after 3 days (is this possible?). Is this their fault? Yes if they insist on using delivery companies that are unreliable at the recipient's end.
I complained and waited another week. On March 5th they replied to say they have sent another pair. Estimated shipping for this pair - 10 - 25 business days (2 to 5 weeks). Not sure why I don't get expedited shipping for the replacement?
In the past 10 days, the shipping status hasn't changed, apparently they're still in the warehouse…
Total waste of my time and money. I'm downvoting!
strangely enough I had the same problem when buying earphones. I seem to get to all the other crap okay :)
Have a lot of others had issues with either one side going really quiet or dead altogether? I have these and the Pros, Pros went quiet after a couple of months of use, these had the same thing but lasted a bit longer. Really annoying, now wondering whether it's worth it risking another $20 on these…
Right side of my IV Hybrids went quiet after 9 months or so but they were getting yanked on a lot while I was snowboarding at the time. So don't think it was a natural failure.
Regardless, they sound so good and are cheap enough so I've bought another two pairs. But if they were to fail after only a few months perhaps I'll reconsider
I had this issue with my Piston 2's going quiet. Pulled the mesh off and gave them a good clean with nail polish remover and they were as good as new. Might be worth a shot?
Code's expired.
cant see the asin….
