If you only use it as a watch, and a notification device, then you can't beat the Samsung Gears. If you want Apps galore then yea look elsewhere.
What do you use voice recognition for? I also wear mine daily but don't miss S-voice
When I used android wear I would be able to send text/WhatsApp messages via voice-to-text on the go and it would always be very accurate.
Now with samsung gear I would be lucky if I get past the 'send John a text message' command, let alone the actual message content itself

Agreed. I have the gear s great watch but shitty tizen software and the gear live with wear software. Would love to have a newer samsung with android wear.
