Valid for a movie rental at $0.99/$1.99 AUD from eligible titles on Google Play. Open to participants based on purchase history. Discount applied at checkout. Offer expires three weeks after redemption. Once you rent your movie, you’ll have 30 days to watch it before it expires and 48 hours to finish watching once you start.

      They work for me occasionally; I never rent a google play movie unless I get one of these deals, and they work for me about once a year maybe?

      So I'd guess there's an algorithm saying "send this deal to everyone who has rented a movie here at some point but hasn't done it for ages (6 months)" or something.

      (Though if that's the case, I struggle to imagine who wouldn't be getting targeted. Do any of you seriously pay $6 for a streaming-quality movie rental?)

      I've used them before… Best advice is to have multiple email accounts to hedge your eligibility.

      FYI I'd redeemed this a week ago so not eligible for these ones.

    It did not work when I clicked on the link (it showed a popup with a random code).
    But closing the popup it showed a banner of the same deal (top of the page) - clicking on that worked for me.
    I have not rented any movie before.. YMMV

    Not working for me. It is weird, when I had the American profile I was getting one of these offers every month but now that I closed it so I can get my Australian profile working, I get nothing lol.

    i used to use these deals, but streaming HD Google Play movies to my Chromecast always looks pretty bad compared to Netflix. i assume it's the difference between AVC and HEVC.

    not that it matters if you just want to see a new-ish movie that isn't on Netflix, and YMMV with the quality anyway.

    For those who have an account but yet to get this offer try adding a payment source (credit card, Pay Pal etc). I have a second account and didn't get this offer last time around so I added a credit card and voilà! I doubt this one would work but next one should.
