This complete edition includes ALL DLC operators from Year 1 & 2, and it does not mention this in the product information, but it does indeed include the Year 3 Pass, which is worth $40 alone. This is great value if you don't want to grind all the operators, and is only $50 more than the standard edition on sale for $25

You can get the 5% discount code from here

$76 is steep for a three year old game. Is there even much of an online presence these days?
Should be cheaper to actually build the player numbers.

It surprisingly still has a good amount of players (and is growing). I bought R6S in Year 1 Season 2, and have been playing ever since. I can't vouch for the ranked matchmaking in the lower ranks (Gold II under) but in casual and Platinum ranked games, I usually find a game within 30-60 seconds.

It's not $76 for a three-year-old game, you get the year 1,2 and 3 passes as well (Get access to the DLC operators 1 week early for free as well as some minor bonuses as well as extra renown obtained). I enjoy playing R6S a lot as it is completely different to all the other shooters.

If you don't want to spend $76, you can grab the Standard edition for $20-$25. It goes on sale pretty regularly.

Well it's actually a very good deal for those without the game. It gives all 3 Year Passes, which means all the Operators (playable characters) unlocked.
And the player base of this game is at an all time high. Very good deal overall!

Lol. It is like saying $59 is expensive for a 12 year old game in WOW.

Me and my mates still play this game (we don't PVP/Matchmake as we are all crap at it) in the 5 player Terrorist hunts and love it. The current limited time Contagion expansion looks to be good as well but my mates are all self obsessed with the weekly Division Assaults so we have not looked at Siege much in the last few weeks.

Outbreak is a 3-man event, and while it's pretty good on normal difficulty its a real blast on the harder 'Pandemic' mode. If you give it a go, definitely move to it once you have a couple normal matches!

        • Thanks for the update. I’ll try to get my mates to play but for most of them it is Division - Lexington farming for our free weekend hours. Grrrr.

Doesn’t help that I’m going away for two of the next three weekends and AFL is starting (I watch a lot of games). 😄

  • I bought this game on PS4 (regular edition) for $20 couple of years ago. Didn't like it and traded in with EBgames.

Maybe it's fun for those who're into games like Counterstrike, but it wasn't an enjoyable game, personally for me.

PSA: Just bought it activated without the extra steps

i would recommend buying standard edition, and maybe year 3 pass if you like the game. i bought the standard ed. for $18 at eb on sale in oct. i really liked it so i bought the yr 3 pass for 30~$(ubi point discount). this way you have a reason to keep playing(grind for operators) to keep things fresh. if you dont like it, then, you only spent 18$.
ive palyed 176 hours since oct. and i am 7 ops away from full roster. (also weapon attachments are now free).
