    amazon au does 65 with free shipping m8

    • +3

      Not for pc version they don’t m8

    • It's $69 and no PC version.

      AFAIK this is still the cheapest deal for PC, even though it was 18% off yesterday?

  • Not that big a fan of the 2 Player Co-op though. Would prefer at least 4 player like the other big Ubisoft games such as Wildlands, Seige and Division. Was a bit curious why they didn't follow this path as their existing player demographic for these types of games is mostly in the 4 player space.

    Good price. If I didn't have too much steam credit already, would have jumped on this in a heartbeat.

    Great game series, I really like them.

    • +1

      Steam credit from PUBG? That game has paid for itself and many others.

      • What what now?
        Please explain?

        • +1

          Play PUBG, gather crates and sell them. Time = money but a good return. Google or youtube how to make money playing PUBG

        • -1

          @MorriJ: That's (profanity) cringey. Just get a job.

        • @StoneSin: Do you know how many people pay their rent playing games? Selling credit, buying steam credit? I found a world of it when I was selling my steam cards.

          People play the money market, buy steam cards on the cheap, turn them into items and sell them on trading sites. Some of these sites are turning over $1m AUD a day in transactions.

          re: job

          I have a job sort of, buying large amounts of stuff a company can use / resell.

        • +1

          Playing the game normally gives you BP, the in game currency. BP is used for one thing only, buying "loot creates". You can sell those creates on the Steam market place and get store credit, literally no downsides other than 5 mins every now and then listing the creates. You can only buy a certain number of creates per week so this stops the market crashing completely. Some creates sell for over $1USD, the best I've got was around $3.50USD for a new create that was released. Needless to say I've made my money back and some.

        • @StoneSin: If you were reading a book and every time you turned a page someone handed you $1, wouldn't you take it?

        • -3

          @MorriJ:

          Do you know how many people pay their rent playing games?

          Yes. Not many.

          People play the money market, buy steam cards on the cheap, turn them into items and sell them on trading sites.

          ??? buying steam cards has nothing to do with what I said.

          I have a job sort of, buying large amounts of stuff a company can use / resell.

          You need a better one.

          @Elderlymango:

          If you were reading a book and every time you turned a page someone handed you $1, wouldn't you take it?

          Everyone would. But that doesn't happen.

          If someone gave me $0.0001 to turn a page I wouldn't take it.

        • +1

          @StoneSin: It does with PUBG, getting free money for something you'd still be doing regardless. Anyway, it's not for everyone and that's fine.

        • -1

          @Elderlymango:

          Nope. It doesn't. That's the point.

        • +1

          @StoneSin: Sorry I'm not sure what you mean…

        • -1

          @Elderlymango:

          If someone gave me $0.0001 to turn a page I wouldn't take it.

          This is the analogy.

        • @StoneSin: The idea of my analogy was that you're reading the book of your own volition and because it's enjoyable, the free money is a bonus to that.

          I'm not sure why you're reacting so negatively to this. Just because you wouldn't take the money doesn't mean others can't, or somehow because they do they are "cringy". We are obviously not on the same 'page' ;) so happy to agree to disagree.

        • -1

          @Elderlymango:

          Your analogy was flawed. It should be $0.0001 per page turn, not $1.

          I'm not reacting negatively, you just don't understand what you're saying.

          People who are trying to "game a game" for money are cringey. Just get a job, it's 100x better.

          You can disagree with the facts as much as you want.

        • @StoneSin: Not sure why your arbitrary figure is better then my arbitrary figure but sure.

          I'm not playing the game to make money, I'm playing it because it's fun with mates. Why do you assume I don't have a job? I work full time.

          I'm not disagreeing with facts, they're your opinions and they're unsubstantiated and bias.

        • @Elderlymango:

          Yours is arbitrary, mine is realistic.

          Good. Play the game for fun as much as you want. Don't tell yourself or any others the fictitious story that "there's money to be made by playing games".

          You are disagreeing with facts the second you disagreed with me.

          they're your opinions and they're unsubstantiated and bias.

          Wrong. They are fact.

          @Elderlymango:

          Thanks. You got there in the end.

        Nah, I had to buy 135 odd steam links for work with a budget of $30ea. I got them during the ebgames january $29 and they came with the $20AUD steam credit cards.

        Ended up with $2700 in steam cards for my efforts and $135 for driving around picking them all up. Quickly sold most of the cards for $17ea and kept a few hundred $ worth for some games.

        • +1

          That's mint, sick scheme you got going on ;)

        • +1

          @Elderlymango: Yeah needed something to fix my steam withdrawls. My account has a stupid number of games (2700+) and a US value of around $20k mostly from scheming.

          I've prob spent $1k in total on it. I used to visit tremorgames and setup a computer to play videos all day long for steam credit. That site was gold for years (they've fixed most of it). I think I left with about $15k USD alone from that site.

          Advertisers are so silly, not sure why they kept paying it out.

  • Mine came to $62.55

  • Far Cry games all look the same :(

    • Actually, I won't neg you, I don't disagree.

      I know I'm a sucker for these Far Cry games. I'm playing FC4 right now, did Primal 6mo ago, FC3 about a year ago. I just get into the XP/skill-tree progression and the really fluid, easy gunplay.

      But I can understand why people hate Ubisoft, pumping out these series (inc. Ass Creed) so frequently that they feel like skin changes for the same environs and engines, the same formulaic open worlds.

      It's like junk food… tastes good for a little while, then you're just sick of it.

      … I'm still gonna keep buying Ubisoft though :(

      This and AC: Origins, I'll probably wait until a complete or GOTY edition comes out on a budget. Much happier to pay full price for something like Celeste or Monster Hunter: World that seems to have a lot more originality or innovation.

      • Yeah I like these games (I've played a few but only liked one of both franchises.)

        But they are just repeats on repeats and it's obvious in EVERYTHING. The environments are all the same somehow, the weapons are, etc.

  • Can anyone confirm that the US version (or the version they are selling) will work on Australian uplay accounts? When I had to buy assassins creed origins recently, not many sites had an Australian key.

  • Not a deal but JBHIFI have it on pre-order for $69 plus $1.69 for shipping. Leaves the warehouse 2-3 days before launch date. Just an alternative for those that don't have a credit card or account that provides them with great conversion rates. Plus physical copy means less of the game to download.
