Hisense 65" 65N7 4K Smart TV $1352 Delivered @ Appliance Central eBay

570
PREWINTER

Not that far off the cheapest price yet which was $1326. I had posted this earlier for $1488, which was later reduced to $1464. Now there has been an even greater discount for this weekend which ends up as $1368 in total. Free shipping to most metro postcodes, otherwise there may be a delivery charge of $104. Although it says 10 available, the store has added more stock every time it has gone below that quantity.

Edit: Cheaper here at TGG if you want to select pick up (if you can find any stores with stock), but this should be the cheapest delivered currently. Now cheaper than TGG.

Update 1: Price has been changed back to $1710, expiry removed. They may end this early so not sure how long it will last.

Update 2: They've just lowered the price to $1695, have updated the title. They are most likely matching TGG.

Update 3: Another $5 price drop bringing it down to $1690. Now cheaper than TGG. Have updated the title.

I actually went to Harvey Norman today to check out the N7 as everyone seems so impressed by it. In comparison to some LG or even Panasonic tvs it wasn't spectacular. I found the N8 to be the better looking option. Picture and TV appearance wise. Not sure if this was just a picture setting or not but it would be nice to get some more feedback in regards to the N7 and N8. Would love to see some deals on the N8.

No idea if this TV is any good or not, but stores manufacture what looks good and what does not to some degree by the settings and the content they display.

i.e. a great TV playing an SD TV signal with the wrong settings is going to look very poor next to something playing custom made 4K BD with a calibrated display.

      • This review is comparing the n8 to premium TV's at $4999. The n8 price has dropped so much you can't compare at sub $2k tv to those that will cost almost double.. i.e qled or OLED. Even the backlit Sony is a considerable jump

    • The N7 is great. Make sure you are looking at the Pana and LGs that are 65" and ULED/LCD, it is easy to dismiss the quality of the hisense if you start looking at those brands OLEDs. I think you'll find that the comparable LG/Pana's are $100 more and the quality of picture very very similar.

      • Yeah I just checked out the TV again. I actually prefer the design of the N8 even though screen wise there is very little difference. I Probably hold off until they come on special.

N7 looked good when I had a look at it this afternoon. I could not tell the difference between the 9000e and the N7. 9000e is the one I want to buy but N7 is tempting!

I will probably fluff around and won't have bought anything this tike next year either.

      • Same. I want the 9000e. If the price doesn't drop I'll probably grab the n8 for around $1800

        • I was about to buy the 65" 8500e from GG ebay for $1646 delivered but by the time I got home there was no stock. I think the price difference between the 8500e and 9000e was $720 - hard to go past the cheaper model.

Like I said above, if I keep this up I will be waiting forever.

    • Went to HN as well to compare this as I bought it based on the reviews from everyone and the experts online.
It was placed next to Sony XD65X8500E and N7 was awesome in comparison. Sony had huge issues handling moving objects. Both TV's were put to Channel 7 HD cable.
I feel it depends on what you look for in a TV. Hisense is better to me as I want 3 year warranty and I want local Dimming as I watch all my TV at night.
I have a android tv box so I will not use Hisense for anything apart from YouTube or Netflix as they have a shortcut on the remote.
But a friend of mine bought the Sony 8500E just because he wanted an android interface and to him the Sony seemed to have clearer picture quality.
I am not here to convince anyone but would suggest do try and research first before you go and look at the TV as it will help you differentiate the factors important to you.

      • Every time I see the N7 it looks good to me as well.

  • Prolly Hardly Normal in store settings.

Word is that N7 is the way to go.

      This the streets talking?

I saw the HN tv's clearly configured differently to favor Sony 8500E when placed side to side with N7. Whereas if you looked at the Hisense row of tv's right opposite to it, they looked much better than the one placed next to the Sony.
Not even sure if this makes sense. But it's very confusing if you visit the store without a clue.
I will soon have my N7 65 and my friend's 8500E to compare. Will post the results from our unbiased amateur tests soon.

      • Please let us know. I am also looiki g at the 65N7 however just need more feedback from user experience before i pull the trigger

How is this N7 so good, can’t find any worthwhile reviews…

    • +1

People rave about it because it's cheap and if you get one that doesn't have sample variance issues it's not terrible. The N8 is more expensive and has issues (see my link to review posted above). Of course some people have swallowed that hype as meaning it's better than a high end big brand tele. And others just aren't that discerning.

  • Blink and you've missed it…

OP - I sincerely hope you were the one person who managed to purchase at this price before it was hiked.

    • +2

Haha it wasn't me, someone managed to get it at around 9pm. Would've posted this immediately if I had seen it at that time :)

  • Price is back to $1368 at the moment. After reading appliance Centrals ebay feedback I will pay the extra $38 and buy from TGG. All the negative & neutral feedback, plus a number of positive feedback said the courier company AC used was poor - not what you want for a $1400 TV.

Good luck to whoever gets the $1368 price.

    • GEATING GITS are just as shitty a company

  • Not too sure about the free shipping.

It's showing up as $68 to Sydney or Melbourne CBD for me.

  • Thanks Op, just bought one for $1,352 with free shipping to Brisbane Metro

  • Any NEW Firmware for 65N7?

  • FYI… Schooling you in LED 4K TVs

Dont buy the OLED hype as they have burn in, color bleed problems still and also while it has blacks, they are not bright at 800nits (600 tested), half that of LED?QLED

4K HDR10 is worth having, its a small difference but its worth buying a TV for if you have netflix/foxtel/prime/stan
Next ALL side lit Tvs suck monkeys balls, the edge lit TVs means sucky black and always banding on solid colours!

So backlit is the way to go is the Panasonic 65” TH65EX600A 4K Ultra HD TV with 20% off with code PREWINTER on ebay

QLEDs are all side lit until the new Q9/Q8 Samsungs come out. But they are going to be damned expensive (even a premium over OLEDs it seems)
But if top draw is on the cards its where Id be putting my money.

Info is free ; best deal is a 55" curved Kogan on eBay for $620 delivered… Also smart tvs suck, buy an xbox/ps4

    • SO this vs the Panasonic 65” TH65EX600A which one is better? I want the cheapest 4k HDR10 compatible TV with upscaling if possible. There's also the 20% off code using PRINT. Thanks in advance!

    • Was at costco yesterday and they had the 65" Panasonic display tv at 1400$. However the model number is EX600 without the A at the end. What is the differrence between them?

  • If bang for buck the Kogan eBay deal

    Otherwise the…600A

The next best you will enjoy are some of the much more expensive Sonys.

The Kogan is basic but dam if it's not about the best as you can afford an xboxS and sound bar
