Where Would You Go to Get a Car Tint [VIC]

Hi Guys, thinking of getting my car windows tinted.

I have a 1 year old and I think its the best way to block out heat.
I have read good reviews on Tint a Car,has anyone used them? The guy at tint a car said his $295 film will block 60% heat and 99 something UV, is that true?

Any other places you can recommend, I have called a couple of places and prices don't vary much. But I really don't know, first time I'm inquiring about tinting. I'm in VIC South East.

  I recently got my car done with tint a car and am happy with the job. I put darkest legal, (though sometimes I don’t think it looks super dark) and find it helps block some of the heat. After chatting with a couple of people I found the % they advise don’t vary too much(though someone correct me if I’m wrong) but be wary of just how dark you want the windows. I went to the one in Box Hill and they did a fantastic job. Cost $250 for a hatch.

    Darkest legal is fairly good; you can do rear windows/windscreen even darker without issue, at least in Victoria. That would be suitable for those with kids in the back.

  If you can go to Bonbeach, Dr Tint is fantastic. His prices are also very reasonable. His name's Damien, and he installs Suntek film. I got my car done there, and referred a few friends too.

  Rob Tait from Car Tint in Ringwood also has very good rep.
