I think these huggies from Amazon is different from supermarkets.. I mean the quality is poor in amazon. Has anyone noticed?

    • Personally I've found that they are not different but are either old stock or slightly defective. For example the wetness indicator line on the smaller sizes is already light green instead of yellow, and does not turn a darker green when wet. Also most of the packs I've bought (which has been a lot) have a few nappies where the side tabs aren't cut correctly or have extra bits of material attached to them.
Certainly not deal breakers, still perfectly usable - first time parents might find the wetness indicator a bit of an issue but for the price compared to local supermarkets it's easily forgivable :)

      • I don't think they are old stock, but maybe just not what is sold in the Australian market. The only place to check is to buy a box from Baby'R'Us as they seem to be the only one that sell this size.

  • Not the one I purchased about a month ago. Same good quality

Strange. The "No.5 Walker /Boys" range is the only one that's not cheap, and that's the one I need!

    • Me Too damit

Jesus, how old are you fellas?!

  • i wish they had deals for adults

Seriously good. $38 delivered for 144 nappies and 4x80 wipes. Can't beat that!

  • Can't seem to find the link for girls nappies. Does anyone know if this sale is only on the boys nappies

    • Just above the sizes, there should be a section "Style Name:", click on the picture of the girls and it'll switch over. hope that helps!

  • Just use a cloth nappy and keep rewashing after every use ;)

  • not getting the discount?

    • Same here. Can't get the discount to show up after adding 2 boxes. Still $80 for me. Any idea?

      • Mate you need to go all the way… fillout payment process then it will show $65 including $0 shipping

      • You'll only see the discount when you check out, it will appear after the payment part.

  • I finally got to use my $20 credit from the baby love sale that they stuffed up. Bought four packets with a $50 discount plus the 20 credit so all up 13 c per nappy. Happy days

Does anyone know the difference between Huggies Ultimate and Huggies Ultra Dry? Ultimate is $10 for the bulk pack at woolies at the moment which seems to be better value.

    • +1

Correct me if i am wrong but the bulk pack in woolies is 44pcs?
      22c per nappy..

      • It appears to also be for the ultra dry as well. Great price!!! Didn't even notice either until you pointed it out :) I believe there are less nappies in the ultimate packs vs the ultra dry. If I didn't need wipes I would have just gotten the nappies from woolies.

Ultimate is super soft, comfier for the babies and I think it holds more and it gives more comfort to them whilst travelling.ultra is fine as standard.I use ultra for my 6 months old during the day and ultimate at night.my toddler use Aldi pads during the day, ultra at night and ultimate whilst travelling.:)

Does this only work for a certain size? Tried to purchase x2 size 4 girls - went right through to purchase and it wasnt discounted as above.

    • +2

I just bought the size 4 for girls…it was $44.44 for 160 nappies. I added these wipes https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/aw/d/B076CRKXMX/ref=oh_aui_i_sh…

So it came to $42.77 for 160 nappies and 4 packs of wipes. Then just repeated the order as it worked out cheaper that way than placing the order of 2 boxes of nappies in 1 order :)

If you don't need wipes, just add anything (Colgate toothbrushes etc) that's part of the promo to take the total to $50 so that you are getting the nappies for $35/pack (after $15 discount) + whatever you added to cart essentially for free as opposed to $73.88 just for the 2 packs of nappies.

  • Is this deal still running? Really confusing tbh the way it's been set out on Amazon. how the heck are you getting 2 for $65? I add 2 of size 2 and cart shows at $100 after discounts. 26cents per nappy is no bargain.

*edit, got the size up. Price gone up high on size 2 only for some reason.

    • I should clarify I purchased the size 3 nappies, looks like they are still $40 each at the moment.

  • What's wrong with the aldi ones?
I find them to be pretty good quality and price. (I measure quality with how many poop attacks manage to evaded all defences.

Newborn ones are 14c per nappy.

    • +1

Aldi pads are great.Value for money and I use Huggies overnight.

    • +1

Nothing wrong with them, if its works with less leakage.
Not every baby bum are the same.

      • +1 Every is bum different

First born wet through all but huggies at night. Aldi during day was OK.

Second born is in comfybots, aldi, huggies… no difference.

    • We are running the aldi ones with no complaints whatsoever. From newborn to infant now. Bought a few boxes of infant (4x60 packs) and worked out to about 8c per nappy.
They baby wipes we gave the flick quickly though, pull one out and get a string of 3-4.
Woolies little wishes wipes are the go.

They only have the boys left at $40 but they are fine to use for girls as well.

  • and size 6 for 37.33

  • No size 4 for that price only size 2 up to 8KG….ah wells.

    • They are on sale in the bulk pack at Cole's this week. 36 pack for $10…which is cheaper than buying the big box of 72 for $24-$26 (when on sale!) which is what I've been doing for over a year…facepalm only realised this when pyr0maniac pointed it out above! I always thought the smaller pack was a third of the big box lol
