genuine question - are hisense really that good? seems to be really popular here at OZB…it even seems more popular than Sony/LG etc, is it just because of price?
Hisense has 3 year warranty while Sony and lg has 1 year. Hisense has pretty decent picture quality based on reviews. Enjoying my 55n7 so far
that's interesting to learn that they have 3 yrs whereas other big brands only have 1…thanks
But keep in mind that even if the Sony or LG TV broke after 1 year, you're still protected under Australian law for a "reasonable amount of time".
Wow, great price for the KD55X7000E! Currently watching on my X7000D which I got for about $1070 just over a year ago.
This sony is only 50hz refresh … the LG is 100hz.
Yeah but the LG is not true 4K, it uses an RGBW panel, look it up.
No thanks.. An LG fan here..
You could add what you consider the better make & model with similar specs for around this price???
I like LG too, I have an LG FullHD set, its great.
But most of their 4K LCD TV are crap.
Are you sure that applies to their OLED panels?
It does not apply to OLED, this TV is not OLED.
@SamR: Woops I must have mixed this thread up with the other OLED thread haha.
Not sure about this particular panel but you know tv's are notorious for not actually having x refresh rate it's just processing garbage right?
Insert generic "but how do they compare to Hisense" comment 😂
