This is not cheap, and a terrible use of the eBay deal, price jacked way above RRP.

    • +2

Very true apple website sells it for 1829 as retail price. price jacked up to $1,979.00 for this deal.

  • +6

Cheaper at think.of.us for $1558.40 shipped with the code. It's also local stock which comes with a manufactures warranty and a GST invoice. See previous deal

This morning we change prices but updated later. Our selling price for 256GB iphone X after the discount $1551.20

Negging due to price jacking above RRP before the discount

  • +2

    This is a joke right?

  • +3

Go away. NoLuck. It's no loss to you even if you sell at RRP after the 20%, so why the jack up? You're NOT welcomed here

  • How much is the GST?

  • +2

    Price jacking scammer

  • Easy way for them to make an extra 20%!
Hate price jacking! Happy to never buy from a vendor who does this.

  • Price jacking deserves a neg

  • That's disgraceful Ausluck.

  • We all know this by now…

To be fair to all the sellers, partly it is also ebay's fault.
If ebay is willing to absorb the full 20%, then certainly all the sellers would not jack the price up.

    • You understand the situation. most of the buyers know about this

      • Thank you. Could you please give me extra discount for the iphone x 256GB =)

        • We can Free Express post same day

      • Yeah what about the ones who you fool into thinking their receiving 20% off (more like 20% off our inflated prices) No thanks!

Are you kidding me - why would eBay do that? Currently it seems that they share the discount, so they really get nothing back in Final Value Fees for these deals…

The retailer is getting the promotion of 20% off yet only really absorbing approx 10% of the discount… Seems fair to me and why these retailers should either take a legitimate 10% hit off their normal prices or not take part!

        Agree!

      • The retailer is getting the promotion of 20% off yet only really absorbing approx 10% of the discount… Seems fair to me and why these retailers should either take a legitimate 10% hit off their normal prices or not take part!

Yes, I agree with this. The big problem here is that the eBay sellers are displaying a price that is jacked well up on what they would normally sell for and then they are promoting a 20% discount. At the end of the day, the buyer gets nowhere near 20% off the normal selling price of that seller. That strikes me as very misleading and against Australia Consumer Law.

Assuming that eBay somehow present this scam to the participating sellers as participation in the promotion as requiring the seller to accept that eBay will only contribute say 10% of the 20% and that the seller must contribute the rest, this is still up to the seller to make the decision whether to participate or not. If they can't make up the balance of the discount above what eBay contributes, then they should opt out.

Presenting a fake jacked up price to take the 20% discount off should not be an option. I think it's actual illegal under consumer law.

Our price is the lowest on ebay with GST Tax Invoice & Australian stocks.

    • +1

No it isn't, this is cheaper.

      Negging due to misleading information.

    • eBay is giving the 20% off not you. You are not losing money by any means. So why you selling it above RRP??? This is pure greed. GO AWAY

      • -2
