    Get a xiaomi usb fan instead, more convenient

      I have a xiaomi USB powered one and this one too, you cannot compare the 2, one is a proper fan the other is a USB gadget. I use them both, the xiaomi one to sleep (keeps running all night) and that is enough for me, but if I want to cool down I would not use xiaomi but the Fenici one. They do different things.

    I have a Fenici 15cm desk fan, I use it at work. It does the job, it is not the most quiet fan there is but it is ok (nobody ever complained about the noise). I cannot see 1 piece of metal in it except 3 screws, it is all plastic.

        I would say it is decent, I bought it 1 year ago and I just recently felt the need to clean it.It cleans ok, take out the 3 screws and wipe the blades.

    Good luck finding any of these in store, I visited 3 stores in Sydney this morning and there is nothing on the shelves.

    Bought some 30cm desk fans from Robina QLD today, plenty of 15cm desk fans there and a few box fans. Price not yet marked down in store but scans at the online price as per OP's pricing. Staff said they had only just been put out on the shelves from the depths of beyond out back (can confirm this due to the layer on dust on the boxes!) and will not be getting any more in once these are sold as they are making way for all the heating.
    Pacific Fair store had none btw.
