No information anywhere online on who FastestVPN is. Not on their website, not Googling… no where.

Claims "FastestVPN is the choice of millions" on website, but then at bottom of website "110,000 people have secured their internet" with them.

No terms, no conditions, just "lifetime" offer. Lifetime of company? 1 week, 1 month, 1 year, 10 years?

I'm dubious, only because I have no idea what I'm actually purchasing.

Who is FastestVPN? No ABN's, no ownership info, no contact numbers, nothing.

    • Been trying to find the same.

I thought the fact that it's arranged like a Ponzi scheme would tip you off but OK, keep digging for info if you think it will redeem the operators from operating a VPN ponzi scheme that you should subscribe to.

      • I don't know what gave you the impression of us being a Ponzi scheme, but I assure you that your perception is false. Though we launch in 2017, we are every bit reputable and honest as other good VPN providers out there.

        • +2

The fact you're offering only lifetime plans. That's not sustainable. Infrastructure bills are monthly, not lifetime. How do you propose to cover costs, unless you just rely on people continually signing up to lifetime plans? That's the classic Ponzi scheme.

Ok so a rep has posted here a number of times already, and I still have no credible information on who FastestVPN is?
Who am I giving $45 to? A mystery company in the Cayman Islands offering "lifetime" service that could be gone tomorrow?

This is VPN… all my private data will be routed through this mystery company. That's very alarming, and links to coupon sites and paid advertising doesn't alleviate those concerns.

I didn't neg on my first comment above, but now that I look further into this "deal", it has to be a neg from me too.
Who is FastestVPN? I would be very wary routing all my internet traffic to unknown entity. Even if it was free.

        • @UFO: BINGO!

at least free providers you know you're the product. But paying for the privilege to be the product - that's a whole new level is scamming.

FastestVPN is a product of Fastest Technology Limited which is a Cayman-Islands based IT Security Consulting Company. This venture was a result of a meeting that was held by the company. Since the meeting’s core discussion revolved around internet safety issues, a solution in the form of FastestVPN emerged as an ideal one. FastestVPN is, therefore, designed exclusively to create a Virtual Private Network in order to safeguard

      Any reviews not paid for?

  • every line in description is
fastest and bestest source of optimized military grade lifetime luls

    • Didn't get what you were trying to say. Are you talking about the product description on StackSocial?

  • This is the third time you have come and posted on here and each time it has been met with utter cynicism and disbelief. Try a different approach offer a couple month free trial let people see if the service lives up to the name ( the one that is giving us all pause and concern). After the free trial then push your packages if people find the service acceptable you may get some to take the bait.

    • We have a 7-day money back guarantee so in case anyone is not satisfied, they can always ask for a refund.

      • Yes I saw this but 7 days is not a very long evaluation period. Most major VPN offer 28 days.

In 7 days you don’t know if some slow speeds are just a hiccup in the system or a ongoing problem, or if good speeds / uptime will be consistent. Hence I suggested a free trial for a month or two to evaluate the product.

"You can’t exceed 3GB of bandwidth, and you must state a legitimate reason why FastestVPN doesn’t work for you to get a refund."
… doesn't sound like a guarantee to me.

        • +1

Good pick up. What's a "legitimate reason" and in who's eyes?

        • Nice pick up, I didn’t even notice that part the 7 day refund is worthless.

Lack of SOLID information, Dubious Credibility.
    PASS on this one.

The first time this came up, was a tad skeptical, but signed up for it.
Never received any emails with account or sign up details, not was there even a customer login page on the site at that time that I could log in and even query this.

Ended up getting refund via PayPal dispute.

Would strongly suggest avoiding. Is there any OZB'er that has actually had a positive outcome with this company?

    • Can you please connect with us over live chat. I'd really like to know why your credentials weren't delivered.

  • Terrible VPN, had constant connection issues and the speed was up and down and very inconsistent.

    • Please connect with our support over livechat so that we may assist you.
