but still 1st Choice is $1/alc %, so that'd make it $43.10 for a 700ml, which is slightly cheaper then this.2 x 500ml beefeater at 47% at $29.99 ea is the better deal.

But it depends on what you want to use it for. Would rather Bombay sapphire anyway.
Beefeater is a terrible gin.
The basic is crap, the higher % alcohol is a much better drop.
Bombay sapphire is pretty crap as well.
Haven't tried the higher alcohol version so that may ve the case. I vary between Tanq and Bombay as my preferred 'cheap' gins.
Not a bargain.
