Toyota Australia have a pop-up stand promoting hybrid vehicles at southern cross station for the next few days.
Visitors to the stand who post their experience on social media get a metal water bottle.
Those who go on a test drive of the Camry Hybrid get a 4200 mah power bank.
Not of of stock levels, but if you're around might as well get something for free!

I won't have todays metal water bottle go to waste, I'll use it. My previous slim acrylic water bottle from Daiso exploded when I put my Hungry Jacks shaketowin free cola in it and forgot about it.

I just got both four hours ago when I saw it on Ozbargain and quickly went there. The bottle is for sharing on Facebook. The power bank if you test drive. So one freebie for each thing you do.

Toyota Australia just did a live video on Facebook for this promotion, most amateur thing I have ever seen in my life. So bad that they deleted the whole thing after it was finished, lol.
What advantages does this motorcar have over, say, a train - which I can also afford?
This motorcar is able to travel on any road and isn't limited to tracks like a train.
You will be able to go to many more places with it.

Just got a test drive – took about 15 min and was around the area near Southern Cross. Very nice driver. Pleasant driving experience – and got a free power bank and snazzy water bottle!

I'm not sure, maybe tell them you don't have your license on you but would like to go for a test drive. If you have some sort of license or maybe a passport on you they would let you go as a passenger. You can just take a picture and post it to social media to get a free water bottle.

Posting a photo on fb/insta for a decent bottle/power bank is a pretty small ask imho. It took me less than 20s to get a photo and put a hashtag.

I was pretty forward with the sales dude ystd after a minute of idle chat and told him in all honesty that I came for the free bottles. He was cool with it and just told me to post a photo with a hashtag.
yea, honestly, they are just happy with the publicity on social media. I bet they pay way more if they actually advertise this on facebook instead. I just set it to private / delete it when I post anyway.

How long did the ride / test drive take?
I tried today, but they advised they need a driver's license, which I didn't have on me.
Also, they need to take a photo of your licence on their phone
It was approx 10 min drive because of traffic, otherwise, I would say 5 mins only. Yes, you do need a license and they will take a pic of ur license. Hope this helps! I got a free water bottle too.
Short option was Spencer St, La Trobe St, Harbour Esp, Collins St. The guy said there was a ~20 min option too
