They are rubbish and will stop cutting in a very short time (just after warranty) Wahl are the industry standard and as long as you oil them after you finish or just before you put them away, they will last forever! I have had one set for 5 years doing 25 - 30 hair cuts a day, still going strong. (cord needs to be replaced every six months or 2000+ haircuts - but that is a small job)
Last time I was at the hairdressing supplies they were around the $90.00 markDon't forget the oil! Because when they are used only every few weeks they will rust between the blades and jam up, easy fixed but most people don't know what the problem is and throw them out! - I worked with a ladies salon and they had 10 sets sitting in a box apparently stuffed, 20 minutes later they were all working.

Well I have had the Remington ones for more than 2 yrs now and works fine every month…
Saw one with more pieces on sale in HN for some 18$.. Good deal I would say…
Breville, Phillips, remmington (?) there are quite a few brands to choose from. We bought a breville (proline) from bigW at least 10 years ago For $30-50. Still does the job fine. Just regularly clean the clippers - brush and oil them before and after use :)
