I'll second that. I went round about 5-6 shops looking for a 120gb model and noone had any. Ended up being told by a nice Dick Smiths staff member that the Sony shop had 1 left for $400.

yeah you can check most stock online and then proceed to call if they have limited stock.
If you get someone nice. They might hold onto one for you.

Woden and Belconnen (ACT) have "limited stock". Used to be able to see all stores in one click, but they "improved" the site with a search now.
EB had the 160GB for $349 delivered, but I guess this is one of the best deals around now.
My ideal PS3 bargain is where you get 'the lot' (Console, Controller, Games, Blue-ray movies, ETC) for free, and luckily Sony is offering 'the lot' with any purchase from the new 3D Television range.

Alright, I know you're trolling as you've said this on every other cheap console deal, but if you were serious… $349 for an old model isn't that good. The 320GB GT5 bundle still seems like the best value out there, even if you aren't that interested in the game.

yeah I saw this before when I was searching for a decent priced PS3. (few weeks ago)
I checked with dicksmith Eastland, they didn't have any stock, and they said no stores near by had them either.
Just last week I tried to buy a 160GB console there, didn't have them either, same with all the other shops in the center.
