Cancelled Internet Provider Service, They mistakenly cancelled it early instead of end of billing month

Obviously peeved off which what has occurred, I use the net for work and today decided to call the ISP to tell them i want to cancel the service and I would like the service to end at the end of billing month which is this Sunday. 10 minutes after the call the net disconnected. Called back.

Found out the rep accidentally put a immediate cancel and reopened the connection and put a cancel for Sunday. But NBN themselves have cancelled the connection already. They told me they would escalate and reopen the connection. But I really doubt it will happen given how close the end of billing month is.

Obviously I wanted to spend a few days to find the right plan.

Just want to find out what people would do if they don't reopen the connection. (Posting using my mobile service. Don't have much data)

  • When i cancelled iinet they did the same. Only reason i didn't complain was cos i was already on a freebie month cos of their piss poor connection/offline time.
