  Can i somehow buy this now in anticipation that i might own a windows 10 tablet in future? It says this software is not for your device and won't let me buy.

    I'm sitting on a regular Windows 10 desktop PC and it let me download it just fine. I do have a really old Windows phone (not Windows 10) on my account though.

    Its more straight forward but OneNote has more features. You can also try Drawboard PDF. Its great.

      I picked up Drawboard a few weeks ago when it was half price. Really good app though it is disappointing a lot of features are locked behind a subscription service.
