Luck cat
If your cat has any taste at all it will reject John West.
What are you expecting from a tuna can? Fine dining?
$15.79/1KG
That's not cheap, the sweet spot is $10.51KG and that's for Sirena.
+1
Wake me up when Sirena is $1. John West is at $1 every second week. Nothing to see really.
Does that happen often?
1.25 but rarely tho
At $1 for a 95g tin, it is ~$10.53/kg
Still not cheap for skipjack tuna, Sirena is yellowfin.
Tastes much nicer.
Yep, JW is the Domino's Pizza of the canned-tuna world…
My lunches are covered for the next month
These are $1 every other week at Coles or Woolies. $1 is the normal price.
Check ingredients…not a huge percentage of tuna in these tiny things
There's 20% tuna in the olive oil tins, but in that case you may as well go for the Sirena.
I do like the curry and mango/chilli flavours for a treat tho.
already a dollar at coles
How long can you store these cans in the pantry for?
ive got some that are a few yeas old. Its tinned last ages!
Over 2 years, but probably safe for a decade or more:
http://www.foodstandards.gov.au/consumer/safety/cannedfoods/…
Canned foods that have a shelf-life of more than two years do not need a best before date. As long as the container remains intact, canned foods have a long shelf life even at room temperature. The sealed containers prevent contamination of food by organisms that can spoil the contents or cause illness to people.
cheap cat food, thanks
