Looking for a Prepaid Mobile Plan

Hi fellow Oz bargainers

I'm looking for prepaid mobile phone plan with large amount (min 7gb) of data and affordable price (under $20 would be great). Also should add that I want to keep the same number and I don't make much calls. Any recommendations?

Many thanks in advance

  • You won't find 7GB for $20 on a regular plan, but you can be a sim slut and keep buying new discounted sims.

You can with Kogan but have to pay a year in advance and no international calls. I paid $204 for 16gb each month for 13months. This plan is still available but only 12months at the moment for 16gb and $204.

      • Agree with this

      • You'd want to try Kogan before committing to a whole year with them. I got a Kogan sim following one of the bargains posted here and it was completely unusable. Pretty much no sites would load, even leaving it thinking for as long as ten minutes.
Obviously it depends where you live but if you do any travelling at all I wouldn't use Kogan (might be fine where you live but who knows what it would be like in different places in future)

        • Agreed. I used the free 23gb for 1 month offer for my testing period and fortunately it worked without any issues. I was paying $20 per month to TPG for a measly 1.5gb prior to it 😣.

      • Sorry , Harshad,

        I went to Kogan website
        https://www.koganmobile.com.au/plans/

and I cannot find this 16GB per month for $204 plan.

It shows $399 prepaid for the 16GB per month plan

Please let me know how to find it, thanks a million.

  • I need a new plan too. Where do you see this on Kogan, pls send me a link.
All i see is buy one get one for free for $400 on the 16g plan.

    • find the deal posted on here - go halves with someone from the comments.

Grab a 50 off 120 spend voucher from eBay. Costs around $10 so net 40 off.
Get a referral bonus by signing up using the links on one of the pages on here to get $10 referral bonus.
      Total 50 off.

Then buy the 16gb plan from here. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/359466. Should cost 204 for 12 months. But as quantumcat points out, you should try it first before committing to a year.

      • ""Get a referral bonus by signing up using the links on one of the pages on here to get $10 referral bonus.""

        how do i do that?

Only works if you create a new Kogan account using the 'referal links' section. Find any Kogan deal and it should have that section just after the main body of the deal. The deal I linked above has the referral section. Once you sign up, it will give you $10 credit towards your first purchase.
