    Spano's Supa IGA

    Is this Spano Kopita?

Damn! That's cheap. Wish it was available in all IGA stores.

  • I use the Aldi Triant or what ever it’s called. How does Omo compare?

    • $5.29 for Aldi 5kg, works great.

      • Ah, Trimat is $5.29 for 1.5kg. However there's a Trimat deal on; $14.99 for 5kg.

However there is no indication that this OMO is concentrate, which means you should double the price to $19.98 to compare with other concentrates.

        • Yer I like the TRIMAT but just wondering how ono goes or if there is any other power brands to try that are great

        • @Twisty: I believe OMO is at or near the top in tests by Choice. But they may not have tested grey imports. I can't see any whether this packet is locally manufactured or imported.

        • @greenpossum:

          That’s fine

I’ve never tried it before so I’ll just try it from Coles

Does it have different ones for omo and of so what is recommended?

        • @Twisty: Search for Choice washing powder tests and you can read how the various powders and variants rated.

        • @greenpossum:

          Thanks for your help

        • @Twisty:

In general Sensitive options clean worse than normal variants - this goes for all brands of washing powder/liquid.

Omo has an Ultimate version which is slightly better than their regular one. If you can get OMO on special it's the best, otherwise as others have said Trimat (regular) from Aldi is very close to Omo in cleaning results and always $4 per kg.

          Special at the moment 5kg/$15 = $3/kg

I bet you’ve made your fair share of stains.
