Soundbar for the occasional karaoke? Something powerful but compact. I don't want huge speakers in my living room. Any suggestions?

Some of my friends have these (https://www.bose.com.au/en_au/products/speakers/stereo_speak…) for their karaoke system. I was quite impressed as those produced pretty decent sound for their size so I went to a Bose store looking for a pair myself. However, the sale guy asked me to try the L1 and I was immediately interested in it.
When I tested the L1, 1 speaker seemed powerful enough for a karaoke system. The L1 has very promising reviews re its suitability for karaoke.
If you are interested, visit a Bose store and test it for yourself. They have 30 day return policy too.
Oh, those bose 301, my inlaws have them for their karaoke too.
what did you end up setting for your karaoke… i have Bose soundbar and want to use it for karaoke :(
