Looking to get Age of Empires Definitive Edition. Wondering if anyone has seen any discounts floating around for it or if anyone has any reviews on it before I get it. Already heard all the initial load up problems they have had but I'm sure that's been patched already or close to.

Best I could see too. Plus the steam multibuy would have been handy too. They haven't ruled out releasing it to steam later on, perhaps if sales have't gone as good as they planned they might do it. Apparently it was something to do with upping microsoft store sales and also steam wouldn't allow them to use a function they wanted in the game, not sure about how true the latter is. They claim they will support Steam once Valve 'fully supports' W10, i.e. UWP, which will never happen because almost half their installs are on W7.

i got it and played maybe 4 hours.Did you like the initial AOE though? If you didn't not sure why you would have thought you would like the DE version. I've heard mainly positive reviews apart from people saying it was crashing on install.

No issues on mine. I got mine with my free Xbox $7 credit + $3 From Microsoft Rewards. I also got >1c extra in Cahrewards account to redeem $10. So I got a free game
Shame it's not on Steam as the key websites with their dodgy methods of buying keys would have them for a good price. I had a quick look around and the MS store seems to be the cheapest thus far.
