There doesn't seem to be a heap of these around at the moment, but I'm wondering the best way to purchase outright a Pixel 2 (non-XL) version. There's heap of XL's going around at the moment due to the JB $59/month deal, but not many of the smaller version. I want AU stock so that I have the security of a 2 year local warranty. Does anyone have suggestions as to the best way to purchase? I've considered buying JB gift cards at 6% off, but that still only brings the cost down to $1108. I'd value the home mini, but not the JB headphones.

You can do much better than JB prices. For example, I found MyMobile were cheap when I was looking for phone a couple months ago. They have local stock (with 2 year local manufacturer warranty) for Pixel 2 for $949.
