Looking for a Job

Hi Ozbargain,
I am in Adelaide and looking for work. I am located in Glenelg area and will travel up to the city for work; Unfortunately no car.
This is a long shot but if anyone from Adelaide could help me it would be excellent.

    Can you use the tram? If you can't use the tram what about the bus? If you can't use the bus how about a taxi?

    Get the job first then worry about transport later.

    Buying a car without an income can cause major problems with your finances so wait until you've got some money saved first.

      Thanks Mysterytal, this post is a long shot to see if any employer on Ozbargain has a job available or if anyone knows of anyone that has a job available. Thanks for the tips though :) I'm just looking to use public transport for now as I cant afford anything else, Tram and buses are available for me. Taxi is too expensive for me

      My work experience has mainly in a supermarket and i did about 6 months in a financial company processing loans but then they moved too far away for me to travel too.
      Happy to do retail as i am a friendly and motivated person.
      With the supermarkets i havent had a reply from any yet

      Thanks for the reply, I'm just trying to reach out as far as possible. Been applying to all jobs relevant to me on the job websites. Haven't had any calls/emails/hits yet

    so maybe they are looking for people.

    That is an easy walk from the Tram.

    Teaching kids how to swim pays alright but hours are limited at most pools. It would almost definitely pay more than retail.

    It's hard for anyone to help you when you haven't provided any details, not even what kind of job you are looking for or what sort of qualifications you have. You haven't talked about your situation, what you've tried, where you've contacted…etc.
