Looking for Swiss Bar that fits standard weight plates (28-29mm)

Has anyone found a Swiss Bar that will fit standard weight plates ?

I was surprised that every single one I could find was Olympic size only.

not helpful for you, but they exist.

we have one - it was purchased around 25 years ago though……

maybe commission one at a steel fabricator?

  I'm starting to think that's exactly how it is. At some point they just stopped making standard Swiss bars. Everything is olympic size now.

Called into a couple of fitness equipment stores today. Amazes me how clueless people are about their own business, how little they know.
At this stage I think I'll be looking at buying an Olympic Swiss bar and getting a quote on machining down the sleeves to 28mm.
