  • Website is not accepting my final application submission.

It gives me an application number but wont confirm the submit.

    Can anyone advise?

    • -1

Game over… 5000 submitted… enjoy the wine lol

      • Where does it say 5000 submitted? Website still shows 3880 flights available?

        • Was a joke… :)

        • @Mr Jeep:

Now 3450 remaining flights to be claimed!

        • Now 3035 remaining flights to be claimed!

        • @klrrider1:

Now, 2815 remaining flights to be claimed!

        • @klrrider1:

          2550!

I have no idea why I'm counting down.

        • @Bart Bart:

Now, 2256 remaining flights to be claimed!

  • Anyone heard from them?

  • I got an automated reply saying that they were going to send an e-mail within 7 days of receiving my paperwork.

I posted my paperwork to them on 2 March using first class mail.

    • Me too… Haven't heard anything yet!

    • Me too, I might contact them today to check if they receive it.

      • So has anyone contacted them yet?

        • +1

          I did just then.

Something is getting a little fishy…

I called them up on 1800 290 738 and the lady, who spoke (genuinely) very poor English did not understand my issue. She was unperturbed that it's taken longer than seven days.

She then went on to tell me that the hard copies need to get sent to the UK which takes 3 to 5 days and only then will they process it.

I asked if she could find out if my application had been received but she said that will take 3 to 5 days. She suggested I email her at this strange looking email address: [email protected] . I'll give it a few days before I start to get angry/nervous.

        • @Bart Bart:

Seems like a high chance of your paperwork going missing then!

        • @Mr Jeep:

Not that I want to go down this path… But I tracked the letter and it was scanned as delivered…

          Has anyone else called?

        • +1

@Bart Bart: My letter was also delivered, tracking says it was delivered to Alexandria but I am sure it is OK. Communication (and planning) for this campaign could definitely be a lot better.

I used contact form on the website,

Hi there, I sent application to you on 2nd March. I'm hoping that Australia post doesn't stuff it up. I'm just wondering if you have received my application. Otherwise, I will send it again. the application number is xxxxxxxxx. Many Thanks <my name>

          I received an email back:

          Good day , <my name>.

          Thank you for your email.

We are yet to receive the first batch of post from Australia. Please, do not worry. As long as you are within the specified timeframe, no problems will follow.

Your application should arrive soon. In case of a post loss, which does happen sometimes, please, retain your receipt for postage as a proof. We then will accept it as a compliance with T&C

  • Can you enter more than once ;)

Hmmph, now I can't try for this deal to China because the one week that would work for me before June is one of the weeks that I submitted to Stoneleigh…..

Hope they get their act together quickly.

  • Has anyone received the email from Stoneleigh to upload their ID to claim their flights?

If so can you please share the email address or keywords in the email so we know what email to look for?

    Thanks

    • Nope, nothing for me. Hope to get something soon.

    • Nothing yet here either and I sent it off day 1

    • same nothing from them

      • just got an email from them, took them three weeks!

  • Nothing yet, I posted my letter on 2 March 2018.

    • +4

Today,I received an e-mail from [email protected]. The header was "Fly with Stoneleigh - Your applicationfsl####".

In the e-mail, they ask for a scan of my passport and details of any accompanying passengers.

The e-mail claims that they will respond with a flight offer within 14 days. I will then have 48 hours to respond to this offer.

I have asked for Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland.

      • Thanks for letting us know.

We can now keyword search for that address and ensure we don't miss the email.

        Enjoy your flights! :-)

      • These timelines are completely not in line with those advertised!!

      • i wonder why they asked for passport copy. little bid odd. ID can easily be verified by other means.

  • +1

I mailed mine on 2/3/18 from Bondi beach to a Bondi Junction address (as specified) with tracking. Tracking shows it got there on 6/3. I emailed today asking about it and cited terms stating a response within 7days of receipt (it's been 9 days today) got an email response within a few hours but with some grammatical errors… leading me to believe not written by a native English Speaker and possibly someone not in Australia (+852 number on email seems to point to HK) telling me that documents had been received (good) but had to be sent to the UK and then a 7 day time frame would commence from there!! I wrote back asking why documents wouldn't be emailed or uploaded to a shared drive but was fobbed off with a follow up email ignoring the question and reiterating that id need to wait for the snail mail to reach the UK 🤦🏻‍♂️. Think this is a scam.

  • Just got an email back from them for my application sent on March 1. I had to provide my I'd and confirm my details. Still don't know the flight details, apparently they'll come through within 48 hours.

    • +1

It doesn't say they'll come through within 48 hours. I was mistaken in all the excitement.

    • Sent mine in March 2, nothing yet :(

      • Don't worry. Sent mine in March 1 express and still nothing…

        • Finally got an email. Same as most others.

        • @Bart Bart:

          Nothing yet as of today

        • @j0hnd0e: Nothing here either. Keep wondering if i'm missing an email now :/

  • Anyone got a confirmed flight yet?

  • A bit frustrating as I want to plan holidays during my three nominated time periods.

    • Called them earlier. Completely dismissive of the timelines on the website. They "promised" me that I'll get a flight offer within 14 days of sending my passport in - which was 4 days ago.

  • Update: received an email from them today to upload my documents!

    • Me too… now to wait another 14 days or so….

  • I’m assuming that if we reject their “offer”, that we get nothing? Does anyone know?

    • I believe so. Though they seem to make their own rules up.

  • I still haven't got the first email :(

    • +1

I received my first email yesterday at 21.15pm. Seems very odd - doesn't even mention where they might be booking for.
      Hang in there.

      • I received mine around the same time. Pity you can only be a “Mrs” or a “Mr” though!

      • Received mine first email last night finally

        • Received mine at 905pm Sydney time today.

  • received the email to provide passport details at 10:51pm on 23 March 2018. Lucky i checked my emails just now. I have sent off the passport details and received the below message:

    WATCH YOUR INBOX
    CONFIRM WITHIN 48 HOURS

We’ve received your details and will get back to you to confirm
the details of your free flight shortly.

Please ensure that you regularly check your inbox – you’ll
need to confirm your flight offer within 48 hours.

Once you have confirmed your offer we will book your
free flight as soon as possible.

If you have any passengers or additional fees to pay for,
we will book your flight after payment has successfully been taken.
We will contact you via phone or e-mail to arrange payment.

  • Why is this marked as expired when there are 2550 flights still available?

    • a) Between 00:01 AEDST on 1 March 2018 and 11:59pm AEDST 22 March 2018 (“Purchase Period”), purchase the Participating Product in one transaction from a Participating Store and retain the proof of purchase (“Eligible Purchase”);

      • Thanks happychild100. That's a pity that the promotion period ended and less than half of the free flights were claimed. Seems like this Inspire group have done a poor job with both promoting and following their own timelines.

        • Agreed. Definitely not the most well run Promotion, that's for sure. But if i get a cheap flight out of it, it'll be worth it. Sure taking their time though

        • @happychild100:
If you accept the promoters words, those 2,550 flights could be for punters who have responded and the promoters have not replied to them. Also the buying of wine period expired on 22 March and punters have 10 days to apply for the flights. their cutoff date would be 2 April.

  • Got my email Friday night. Excited to hear back!

    • Did you get the Email asking for ID details? Or the second one with the actually flight times/date to confirm?
I'm still awaiting the second one (it's been a bit over a week so far when they said "within 48hrs").

      • Just the one asking for ID.

      • I only received the the e-mail asking for ID details.

In that e-mail, they said would reply with a flight offer within 14 days of receiving my reply.

I replied on 16 March, so I am expecting a reply by 30 March (Good Friday}.

        • +1

You're right, we had 48 hours to reply, they gave themselves 14 days. I got my email on 17th and verified ID on 18th so I guess I'll be waiting until April…

  • +1

I haven't heard anything yet but am a bit concerned reading these posts giving my passport ID deets to who knows who? Seems a bit odd….. I hope it is ok as I don't like giving out personal documents to untrustworthy places….

  • For those who have sent off their passport photo, did you receive an email confirmation that you had completed this? I sent it into the void with no confirmation

    • +1

No email confirmation - just the confirmation screen after uploading.

      • +1

Same, no email confirmation - just the confirmation screen after uploading.

  • Anyone gotten their flights yet?

    • Overnight the first batch came out! Mix of Jetstar and Air NZ so far.

      • Got cheapest jetstar flight Christchurch facevalue 254$

        • When did u send them ur passport scan? Thanks 💐

        • +1

          @voteoften: one week ago

          Face value from jetstar.com

      • Great. Can u tell us how u found this out? Thanks 💐

        • Email pdf ticket offer

  • So they rejected my application. Without telling me. Apparently they thought of a requirement that my passport has to be valid for six months, mine has four - it's not in the T&Cs (and I obviously am getting a new one). I'll fight it.

    • Good luck! At least this promo seems legit now that some people has gotten their flights!

    • +1

Apparently i didnt upload a passport scan.. annd i did.

Methinks this is yet another redemption "scam" - purposely difficult terms and conditions with the intention of not having many successful redemptions

    • +1

So I emailed them using their form on the website.

      Response:

      Dear Mr Bart Bart,

We have received an updated information from our back end office.

Regret to inform that your application has been rejected due to invalid passport.

      Kind Regards,

      ZANA
      Travel Consultant

      My response:

I do not have an invalid passport.

Please show me the terms and conditions where it says I need to have six months validity?

I will have a new passport in two weeks and my current passport expires in 4 months.

If you do not offer me the flight according to the offer, I will be contacting Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. This is not acceptable - it was not in the Terms and Conditions! My passport is my business. Please offer me a flight in accordance with the offer.

      Their response:

      Dear Mr Bart Bart,

We are sorry you are disappointed with the Stoneleigh free flight campaign.

However, we cannot unfortunately not process an application without a valid travel ID. Nor can we book any flights without a valid travel ID. Your passport unfortunately not only isn’t valid for 6 months but is actually expired. incorrect

We can accept travel ID other than a passport for the domestic destinations, however one of your choices is to an international destination where you will not be able to travel to without a >valid passport. We cannot accept invalid or expired travel ID or passports.

We inform all participants in detail about which travel ID is required and must be uploaded during the application process.

Please also note point 7 of the terms and conditions: “7. To be eligible for the Offer, Participants must take all the following steps:”
Applicants must provide valid Passport (international travel) or Travel ID and also must provide 3 destination and dates to choose from. In effect we did not receive 3 destinations as we would have to discount the destination to NZ in order to make an offer. We cannot provide an offer for you as you did not provide us with the necessary documentation, and a valid Travel ID.

As a gesture of goodwill however we can offer you the option of submitting a new application. This application must either:

-only contain domestic destinations including a Travel ID valid for domestic travel (not expired)
      OR
-contain a valid (not expired) passport if it contains international destinations

Please use code: XXXXXX to submit your new travel choices. I won’t be necessary to submit any post this time. You will receive a link to upload your details after you have made your new >submission. Please not that you must make this application by the 1st April 2018 when the campaign closes.

      Kind regards

      Sonja Bender

      My response:

      Hi Sonja

      Thank you for your email.

This is the exact passport I uploaded. (attached). It clearly shows that my passport is still valid. In fact it is valid until June!

There is no 6 month rule to travel to New Zealand for an Australian passport holder.

This is from the NZ government website:

For Australian and New Zealand passport holders, or Australian permanent residents and new Zealand residents, your passport must be valid at least on the date you travel to New Zealand >>(must be valid on your arrival and departure dates).

In the case of visitors to New Zealand who are non Australian or New Zealand passport holders or permanent residents, that are coming to New Zealand as visitors, students or workers, >>your passport must be either:

Valid for at least three months beyond the date you intend to leave New Zealand.
I am an Australian passport holder therefore my passport is valid. So whilst I appreciate your gesture of good will I have followed all of your requirements and terms and conditions, >>therefore could you please meet your side of the agreement and offer me one of the flights I have requested.

As I've shown, my passport is a valid travel document. In fact I'm in NZ right now!

I look forward to the flight offer.

Thank you for taking the time Sonja.

      Their response:

      Hi Bart Bart,

It is correct that 6 months validity after the return date is not necessary for travel to NZ.

Unfortunately your passport will be completely invalid for two of your given dates of travel, departure and return. Therefore we cannot offer or book a flight for you.

Only one of your dates is within the dates of validity of your passport. As explained in our previous email we cannot reduce the potential destinations or in fact dates be reduced to only two >or one which is what the fact that your passport won’t be valid for two of the dates you have chosen. In combination with the fact that one of your chosen destinations is an international >destination, we simply are not able to make an offer. Even if you were to travel only within Australia we would only be able to accept a valid document even though it would not have to be a >passport.

You are still very welcome to submit a new set of travel dates adhering to the rules outlined below and we will be happy to make an offer to you. We will not be able to process your existing >application further however.

      Thank you for your understanding.

      Kind regards,

      Sonja Bender

      My response:

      Good morning Sonja

I don't think it's at all reasonable to deny what I've requested. To imply that bookings can't be made into the future in anticipation of a new travel document is false - it happens all the time.

The Terms and Conditions ask for a valid travel document. I've sent that. I've also said that I'll be renewing my passport in two weeks. If I was able to renew now then I would, but I can't since >I'm overseas.

So you've asked me to supply a document I simple cannot supply - I hardly think that's fair.

The promotion has also not followed any of the timeframes promoted on the website. Had these been followed I might have been able to renew in time for the promo ending.

Eg, from https://campaign.flywithstoneleigh.com step 4 says that I'll get an email to supply travel documents within 7 days of you receiving my submission. I have tracked letter evidence >that you received it on 2 March 2018. I did not get your email until 17 March - well after the 7 day period.

Clearly, the timeframes of the promotion haven't been followed. I've acted in good faith and I've been drinking Stoneleigh for years, but this really seems unfair.

I've followed all requirements of the promotion to the best of my ability - I supplied a valid travel document and assure you that I will renew my passport. Had the timelines of the promotion >been followed from your end I'd have been able to rectify the condition that's been created in time - but this wasn't followed.

I'd like to resolve this once and for all, I urge you to consider the information I've provided about the delay caused by your side and offer travel in accordance with my initial submission. >Should I not receive an offer with 24 hours I'll be sending a formal complaint to Consumer Affairs Victoria - together with evidence of AusPost tracking, the terms and conditions from the >website and logs of the three calls I made between 9-17 March to inquire about the delays.

      Regards

      Bart Bart

Excuse me while I bang my head against a wall. Repeatedly.

  • Just got my offer, PER-DPS flying Jetstar, worth $271.

  • Did u get the first listed choice for destination and dates?

    • Hey guys. I was late to get onto this but sent my stuff in Express Post on 19 March. Bought the wine a week before. What do you think my chances are? I’m thinking you all posted your receipts beginning of March and only getting offers now so I might be waiting a while…

    • +1

Third choice of dates (but the other two were long weekends). Second choice of destination. I'm guessing they just look for whatever is cheapest.

  • +2

Mine got rejected because I didn't provide passport. I thought the application said you could provide passport or drivers license? Can anyone confirm this thanks

    • Just curious, were all of your destinations international ? ( nz?)

Did they say in their t&c that you had to provide a passport ? If you had two domestic and 1 international , then maybe u have never travelled overseas before and are waiting for confirmation on which flight u get before spending a lot of $ for a passport u may not need.

Alternatively if u did not have a passport and applied for all nz destinations, maybe u were waiting until you found out if their offer would suit before getting a passport.

Do you even have to have a passport to book an international flight. I thought you could book the flight and apply later.

These seem unconscionably unfair conditions. I do not think they would stand up to any rehaulatiry/court review. In some respects they are quite onerous and arbitrary

      • +2

I have a valid passport. I picked 2 Australian destinations and one NZ.

I was under the assumption I had a choice of sending either and as I was at work when I received the email I only had my driver's license on me so sent them that. I definitely remember reading drivers license sonewhere

  • +2

For those wanting to email them, this is the email I'm using: [email protected]

There seems to be two types of people in that team. Poor use of English, no ability to make a decision - and the opposite (like the Sonja Bender chick, management I assume).

  • Last night received the flight offer for my choice of first destination and my choice 2nd lot of dates..Once i confirmed their offer, received the following msg on their website

    THANK YOU!
We will now endeavour to book your flight as soon as possible.

If you have any passengers or additional fees to pay for, we will book your flight after payment has successfully been taken. We will contact you via phone or e-mail to arrange payment.

  • +1

    Hi there,
I received an email asking to upload EITHER drivers licence, passport OR social security card. I had my drivers licence handy so uploaded that.

Then received an email to say application rejected because had not uploaded passport.

Emailed back specifying that the email they had asked for either - or.

They emailed straight back referring to original terms and conditions which state need to provide passport.

    I am left feeling scammed.

    • +2

      Let's start emailing en masse.

    • +2

Exact same thing happened to me

    • +1

I uploaded my driving license as well.. oh boy looks like gotta fight this.

      • +1

If you (or anyone) have any ideas how to fight this, let us all know! They're incredibly hard to reason with.

        • +1

I have been victim to this as well unfortunately, website clearly stated drivers license or passport. Luckily I studied business law at uni and am very confident this is misleading and deceptive conduct and well all be covered on Australian consumer law, yet alone it could fall under unconscionable conduct which is more serious. I am trying to get a response from them via e-mail and will post on here what to say if throwing the law at them does get them to come round.

        • @trolio:

But isn't that a standard we can only hold Aussie run promos to?

    • Did you get anywhere re sending licence initially rather than passport as I am in the same boat?

  • +3

They are a dodgy lot. They tried to deny my application as well. A couple of emails later and they backed down, no apology or anything, just received the email asking to provide ID etc. They will try anything to weasel their way out of giving you a flight offer. Kept giving me the refer to terms and conditions BS, but I knew the claim was legitimate. Got my offer now.

    • +2

I'm going through the same thing. What did you say that made them give in?

    • Just wondered if yours was rejected because of no passport (meaning sent drivers licence) or some other reason?

    • did they deny because of no passport initially or was it something else?
