Stan Credit / Discounted Subscription

I previously asked OzBargain about the best way to get Netflix credit, and got a great answer (buy discounted iTunes cards, pay through an iDevice).

But I'm moving back to Stan for a while (new seasons of some exclusive shows), and I was hoping someone out there might have an idea about an equivalent scheme for getting discounted Stan subscription.

Note: I've opened up half a dozen new accounts in the past to take advantage of 3-months new-customers-only offers, but I'd rather not have to do that again.

    Can do the extract same thing as you did for Netflix with Stan; have both coming out of my iTunes credit.

      As far as I can tell, Stan only lets you use iTunes credit if you sign up through an Apple TV. So, no.

        Pretty sure they refer to Itunes as the point of payment. Think you are getting confused by the term "Apple TV support". You should be able to just jump on an Idevice, and activate billing via Itunes/App Store using your old account if you want or just sign up with a new account. Will just need to be a previously inactive account that is currently not being billed by Stan directly.

          @NiteMice: I definitely have an Apple TV but I’ve had my subscription coming off iTunes from the beginning so cannot remember the process I took unfortunately. I can tell you that I’m able to alter the subscription to other plan tiers or cancel on my iPhone or iPad. I can only suggest “canceling” your existing subscription and then trying to log in and watch something on an iDevice? Otherwise at a stretch… any friends with an Apple TV?
