Wireless Earbuds (That Don't Fall out!?)

So long story short I am looking for a set of decent wireless earbuds that sound acceptable but that will actually stay in my ears! Have a big head and ears so I feel like it can be a bit of a problem.

I have been using the Meizu EP51's and they are a good set of earbuds however as soon as I jump on the treadmill I'm constantly readjusting and having them fall out (even after trailing and testing different earbud sizes).

I've been considering the Anker Wireless Curve's found in this deal (I am thinking maybe they will be better due to the over ear clip style design)

However the current price I can find is about $45 (including shipping) on Amazon (which I am still happy to pay given the reviews I've read online and on here)

Looking for some feedback from some more experienced users than myself in this area. Would the Anker ones be a good choice for $45 AUD or is there a better alternative for more or less?

Thanks in advance!

Adam.

  • I take it you tried different earbud size for the meizu?

    • I have yeah! Unfortunately they always seem to come loose!

  • Have I got good news for you. After years of searching, I finally found ones that were of very high quality, low price and didn't fall out: Panasonic Ergo Fit.

You can grab them on eBay for a reasonable price (roughly $10 without a microphone, $20 with it, $25 for the extra bass). Wirecutter had them at #1 in the under-US$50 category for a while, and while they're now only the "budget pick", I rank them #1 for the fit. The Brainwavz fall out in seconds.

The ErgoFits are amazing comfortable, but it's the fact that they don't come out - unless you yank them out - which sets them apart. The brilliant seal they create is superb for knocking out outside noise. Honestly, I've worn them inside my Bose for a double noise-cancellation hit whilst flying.

Only drawback is the cable is a bit thin (but that makes it perfect to put in your pocket).

Also very good (comparable sound, comes out a fraction easier) are the Xiaomi Pistons (https://www.amazon.com/Xiaomi-Headphones-Earphones-Earbuds-H…, which I picked up on here for $5 or $6 during a deal.

While your experience and research is appreciated, and I might grab some myself, I think OP wanted wireless.

Somehow, in my eagerness to promote said product, I totally overlooked the first and most important word in his post.

    • Thanks for your advice! Even though I'm after wireless I still might pick up a set of those given they are only $10!

Easier said then done but will consider it. Cheers.

The old Samsung ones genuinely fit so perfectly. Never fell out, even while lifting or running. That said, garbage battery life- so only if the new ones have fixed that issue.

    • I'll take a look. Thanks!

I've been using these for years, and they sit in my ears very firmly, never ever fallen out. They are a bit pricey, but they have their own storage, which is perfect for me.

    • They look interesting. Also the storage is a plus! Thanks.

  • Mpow Cheetah.

However everyone's ears are different so what works for one person night not work for the others.

    • Thanks Scotty they actually look really good. Only ~$27AUD on aliexpress too. Might have to pick up a pair.

  • Jay bird x3, you can get em for 140$ at jbhifi with extended warranty for 3yrs.

    • I have been checking out the Jaybirds so might have to look into them again. Cheers.

    • Wow that's very interesting. Looks so strange but I'm sure they are super comfortable.

Try the Xiaomi Sports Bluetooth earphone or the mini (I don't have this). There is a hook on it, so I guess it won't fell off. It is comfortable for me and not fall out.
