Corsair Carbide 400R Black Mid-Tower Case

for sale - one broken PC

    • Haha I guess people can butcher the parts as they see fit! It's only the GPU that isn't working

  • How's that shiny new monitor?

  • Where are you located? I'm interested in the RAM if you're in Sydney!

    • Adelaide soz! But I don't want to sell the parts separately

  • I suggest going to PCPartPicker, input your components, posting at 85% cost price and negotiate down to 80%.

I would say its also better to sell as an entire system instead of parts.

Good luck getting 80% of the price. All those components are quite old, I would guess without warranty.

OP go to eBay and search for each component but sold listings. That should give you an idea on how much you would be able to sell them on eBay, remember that eBay takes 15% (I have never sold anything on eBay so I may be way, way off) and try to sell them for 15% (or whatever it is) lower than that price.

Without doing anything like that I would guess

      TP-Link TL-WDN4800 450Mbps Wireless N PCIe Adaptor - no idea, 20 AUD?
Antec High Current Gamer 750W Modular HCG-750M - 70-80 AUD
Corsair Carbide 400R Black Mid-Tower Case - no idea
      Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H Motherboard - 70-80 AUD
Samsung SH-224DB 24x DVDRW OEM - probably nothing
      Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler - 40 AUD
      G.Skill Ares F3-1600C9D-8GAO 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 - 60 AUD
      Intel Core i5 4670K - 150 AUD

I recently sold a 4790 with a z87 MB, 16GB RAM, I based my estimations on that. I had to split my PC apart eventually as I did not manage to sell it all together.

      • Thanks! I really don't want to have to sell the parts separately. I'd rather get less money and get rid of it in one go!

  • What's wrong with your GPU?

    • No idea but games don't work, cant look at photos etc. without the display going black (screen still works fine)

      • only photos?

        • Photos, games and even some websites caused the same thing to happen

        • @Heracles26: so when it's just on the desktop and file folders it's fine? what about word processing?

        • @steff:

Not sure about word, don't think I tried it

        • @Heracles26: so apart from photos, some websites or games it's basically fine? could be drivers.

Have you tried it on a different computer?

      • i heard you can bake it in oven to fix it

        • I'll put that in the ad haha

Update drivers. If you've already done this, boot into a Linux distro. Test your photos, videos, websites, etc.

If those work, then there's something up with Windows.

        • Yeah, it could be a software problem rather than a hardware problem.

    Well over $10

    • +1

      Fingers crossed! :D

  • +3

i wouldn't pay more than $550 would try to get you down to 400-500

  • +1

    I’ll give you $34.50

    • +1

I'll do you better and take tree fiddy

  • +2

    Classifieds requirements not met

  • Can't you just replace that part and sell as working? :S

    • -3

I could but that requires effort haha

      • Ozbargain membership revoked

  • $22.50

  • $200. There's nothing particularly new or amazing there.

  • Join overclockerAU. You have to wait 3 months to join the trading forum, but the sooner you join the sooner you're in. They will price it for you, add on 20% and list on gumtree.

I guess 350 is what they will say. 450 max.

  • That build is worth no higher than $500 (if you include the dead GPU inside)

    I'd guess it's worth $350 at minimum.

If the GPU isn't in fact dead and just has issues, it's worth no less than $450 and no higher than $600.
