Camp Hill gym had this "offer" for the past 3 months and im pretty sure its still going.. no deals here.

Nobody should pay a joining fee. It's only there so membership consultants can cross it out when you sign up. No deal.
Yes there's no joining fee, but there's a ~$69 fee for an access card.

A tip that may or may not work for everyone.
I mentioned I had been a jetts member 9 years ago and they gave me half price for a new card.
They don't have records for anyone that long ago and she gave me half price for a new access card.
I imagine you could say this even if you weren't a member.
Yes all gym joining fees are a scam any gym staff will admit this if you know them well enough. I have been to many gyms and always get the best deal and they then say there is a joining fee and said not paying any extra, never have paid, always got the deal without any joining fee.
It takes a minute or 2 to enter your information into a computer and they expect you to pay to join!Sorry this doesn't classify as a deal.
If a gym doesn't waive the joining fee, you shouldn't sign up
If you pay a joining fee for a gym where you pay a continued rate fortnightly/monthly, you're getting scammed.
