TO ENTER
During the Promotional Period (9 am 21 Feb to 3 pm 29 March 2018):
1. Complete an EFTPOS CHQ or SAV transaction on an EFTPOS terminal at any participating Australian merchant and retain the receipt.
2. Visit the Website starting 9 am AEST 1 March and fill out the form, including uploading a picture of the receipt.
3. Bonus entries:
(a) Share unique URL with friends/family (Subsequent Eligible Entrants). For each Subsequent Eligible Entrant that enters an eligible entry in the Promotion, the initial Eligible Entrant will receive 1 additional entry.
(b) Locate a unique code within eftpos advertising (not necessarily on the eftpos website) each week and provide this in the required field (until the allocation of 200 opportunities has been exhausted) to receive 20 entries. Max 1 unique code per entrant per week.Non-winning entries roll over.
Entrants may win a max of 3 Daily Prizes and 1 Grand Prize.

i am a comper and the people i see on the list have won atleast 3 times and won in the last eftpos comp!!

They obviously know roughly what's required to pick up a few wins from the comp. More entries should fix that. The question is how on average many entries per day does it take to pick up a few wins? :)
@amygirl: lmao. Well, you might be surprised it's probably as not as many as you think. Comes down to due to so many daily prizes and goes for a month. Can roughly estimate how many entries they are likely to have entered. Yeah, it's a decent amount, daily it's achievable without too much effort.
Requires a few assumptions like how many total entries per day they are receiving and a couple of probability equations. They stated last competition roughly what it was.

Only 100 receipts, warmish for how many I've entered, thou how many entries in total do they have? i.e. 100 receipts could mean they have at least 200 entries. 200 entries in early it's highly probable of winning a few times at least.

Wow only questions were they entered early in the competition. Wow that's about double what I might have expected from the top participants. let me see 76 entries per day probably equates to 30ish receipts per day. Yeah, achievable.
Gee I might have to update my assumptions for the average total entries per day and regenerate the binomial distributions for winning one or more times. I was getting the impression this time around there could a lot more total entries per day. Thou a few have won 3 times I doubt many would have done more than on average 50 entries per day.
@badbaydot: Hmm even doubling the generous assumption of total entries per day to say 10,000 and if averaging 70 entries per day you either been quite unlucky or possibly some other reason why haven't won. I'm wondering the same with the number of entries I've put in. I won the first day and most likely before the masses got entries in.
