Tossing between Huawei mate 10(not pro) or Lg V30 or Sony xz premium .SD card slot and 3.5mm headphone jack is a must.
Samsung SINCE plus is a contender too but placement of finger print sensor out me off.
Looking to buy this on tomorrow s eBay sale, if any decent sale comes up.Thanks in advance for all the input.
While I agree the Samsung fingerprint sensor is in a stupid place, if you put a cover on like the Alcantara official cover it guides your finger to the sensor and you won't have any issues. That said it is almost 12 months old and due to be replaced very, very soon. But still a great phone with a great camera and the latest CPU. Worth it if you can get it for around $600. Will get Oreo very soon.
The XZ Premium I just can't get past the bezels. Although it's likely to be the cheapest.
V30 is nice but a bit pricey. And LG…
I can't talk to the Mate 10, but I used a P10 for a while. Alright phone, but the EMUI software was not the best.
I'd consider the Essential phone at $580 from Amazon shipped. 128GB, 835 CPU, Oreo etc.
