Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Screen Damaged

Hi, I just dropped my S7 Edge and the screen was damaged. My phone screen now is not responsive anymore and need to replace for new one

I called Samsung and been told the fee to replace and repair is from $260 to $360. Too much for me to get this done.

Guys,do you know any where I can fix my damaged screen in Sydney for less money?

          New S7 edge is like $650

    I think everyone I have ever seen with on of these phones has some cracks or chips in the screen…

    It looks like the screen assembly in more than $150 on ebay, so I would be surprised if you found somebody to repair it for under $200. That makes a genuine repair look like better value, I guess.

      This. Samsung's odd numbered phones are usually slight improvements, but worth every penny.

    I don’t think cheap repairs for the s7 exists. Have you got home contents insurance ? Did you buy the phone on a credit card ?

    Get a card like this so then you can be covered for screen repairs of up to $500.

    Or you know, prevention rather than cure. Get a good screen protector.

    If, after say 6 months you still haven't fixed it, then you could probably expect that it will never be fixed.

    In which case, you may want to consider doing this yourself. I have heard of it being possible to replace the screen without the digitizer, but for all intents and purposes, unless you're a wizard it just ain't gonna happen.
