  • Greate price with the PS3 included!

    • just got back from big-w mamanger wouldnt price match. says it was one off special. current special is 997 and wouldnt budge…

  • Definitely a great deal if the manager lets you have it at that price!

    • I agree with that. That's gotta be near cost price.

    lol they have 120GB PS3s!?

    • They are phasing them out, as you guys probably saw at the Toys'R'Us sale!

  • How do you get $200 off? Is it advertised somewhere?

  • +1

Did the OP have to haggle for it, or did it scan at that price?

  • I don't think it was advertised, but it was just marked at that price.

There was 3 left on the floor when I was there.

  • it's still 997 on the website

    • +1

Best way is to call them to see if they have any stock still. The website price is $997 but at the store it was crossed out and price was $797.

  • its on the latest bigw catalogue btw guys

edit: actually doesnt have ps3 with the catalogue

    • -3

catalogue does have with ps3 actually: http://www.bigw.com.au/electronics/televisions

its is a great deal if u can get it but sounds like a one off.. good luck at other bigw. probably was a managers special or sumthing. 5% chance it will be repeated unless anyone can confirm going to another store and geting this deal!?!?

      • na mine starts dec 16 to dec 24…$794

        • -2

i dont see the deal in the catalogue 16 dec. can u please link! all i see is tv bundle with 3 blu rays for 798

        • +1

youre right $798 for no ps3 i did say no ps3..lol

        • No PS3 on latest catalogue, see my comment below.

  • Awesome deal!

  • -2

is it ps3 slim or the old ps3 120gb? online ad doesnt say "SLIM"

This Sony Bravia 32" LCD TV Bundle features a Bravia 32" LCD TV, 3 Blu-ray movies( Zombieland, 2012 & Spiderman 3), PS3 120GB and an HDMI cable. LCD TV reproduces incredibly vivid colours on screen with its ambient sensor and Bravia Engine 3. The HD TV has a 1920 X 1080 Resolution, 16:9 display ratio, 4 HDMI inputs and 178 degree viewing angle.

    • +1

there is no non slim with 120gb..quite odd if they modified the phat version..lol

    • It is the slim version!

      • -6

how do u know. where does it say..link !

        • Look at the picture on the link you provided, and I can post a picture of mine if you don't believe. And as jasecs mentioned, there are no 120gb phat versions!

can anyone confirm the deal to be 797$ everywhere? is it in a catalogue that ive missed? or is this deal just another one off has been?!?!

  • The new catalogue start on 16-24 Dec didn't include PS3!

It's $798 (saving of over $100 if purchased individually), pack includes:

    • Bravia 32"
    • Blu-ray player BDP370
    • 3 Blu-ray movies (Eli, Pink & Karate Kid)
    • HDMI cable
    • Did you go in store and ask or you like the red button?

      • -6

        has anyone else?

    • print the receipt and ASK, geeez.

  • so hows the TV?

    is it 100hz?
how much for the tv by itself from jb etc?

    • The model is Bravia 32" (81cm) 1080P LCD KDL32EX400
      http://www.sony.com.au/product/kdl-32ex400

I don't know about JB but video pro have it for $664.40 with free shipping. It most likely can be found cheaper with percentage off & after christmas sales.

It says it's 50hz in the description at the top of this page.

  • I've given this a +1 on the basis that the deal includes (or have a high likelihood of honoring with copy of receipt) the PS3 as mentioned. Otherwise it's somewhat misleading and I'm removing my +1. That said it's still a good deal just not a "bargain" per say.

  • Would be great if this receipt showed that this included the ps3, then we could print and show other stores

what with all the neg votes on my comments? no1 can confirm geting the same deal so anywhere else so i reserve my right to flag this as a neg until someone confirms otherwise!!

  • The TV by itself is in the Harvey Norman catalogue for $649…

  • all sony tvs dropping in price when the promos finish , even the tvs not in the current promos….expect good boxing day prices

  • if you could get it for $787,
you could sell the ps3 for $350+ which would bring the tv down to about $450

    • But not probably the other way around. The TV isn't worth much to cover for the PS3.

  • I just called auburn bigW who has it in stock and the girl on the phone was saying they wouldnt price match as they had it for $997, even though I said I had a receipt from the other bigW for $797.

    • -1

      Exactly. Big fat NEG——-

  • I bought this TV last month from Clive Peters for $599. It's a good TV but you don't really need Full HD for 32". It will make a good computer monitor when it retires though.

  • +2

Just got the deal from BigW Watergarden had 11 instock - first assistant I asked wasn't willing to match it went back and got another person to price match. Sweet deal i got to say.

    • +1

Sounds good. Please post the receipt, as I'm sure it will help others as well. Thanks.

    • Hey mate, any chance at posting the receipt?

I'm WA too, will help at my local big W

  • Tried this at BigW TTP and was knocked back.

  • +1

LOL at all the Negative votes Gavman has received

    • +1

I think the funny thing is… he's right… not many got that price from another bigw

      • -1

funnier thing is what did he contribute to the community? ONLY criticism?

  • Pls post receipt will try in WA, Mirrabooka.

    Anyone from WA????????

  • Picked up the TV on its own for $564 at Myer (Dandenong, VIC) and comes with 2x $25 voucher as a side promotion.

  • Its a Managers Special. Reason is that alot of stores have barely even sold any since they got them 4 months ago. They started at $1197, then down to $997. Still not selling though.
