10% off Sitewide at eBay for Your Birthday (No Minimum Spend)

1140

Received a targeted code as part of a 'birthday treat' from ebay. Check your emails to see if you're eligible.

The difference between this and PRONTO is:

  • This runs for 2 weeks from the date you receive it (mine says expires 4th March), no idea how long PRONTO runs
  • No Minimum Spend
  • Capped at $100 discount so useful if you're buying something less than $1000 over the next 2 weeks or so

Enjoy!

No email as usual from eBay. Maybe I should enable the promo and newsletter account option.

    • +3

Yes, do that. Also make sure each account has different birthdays ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

      • Where can I set up my details in eBay?
I don't see that in my Personal Information tab.

        • +1

          when creating your account

        • +5

Lol you want to change the dates of your birthday :)

        • Go to Account setting, top left corner, communication preferences, all the way down, Promotions and Surveys, enable all, just in case, or just the 2nd one.

        • @steff:

I just created an eBay account found no way to enter my birth date.

        • @ManUtdFans: Cant remember exactly where it asks you for it since I created it sometime ago.

aybe someone else care to chime in?

        • I had to get customer support to manually enter my birthdate.

        • @lordra:
          Thanks!

eBay is just getting desperate now

      • Desperate for what? They're huge right now, back bigger and stronger than that lul 5 or so years ago. As for Amazon, well that's proven to be more than a fizzer.

        • +1

I got a few t-shirts from Amazon which arrived today! Damn boy I look sexy

  • Do the codes stack or would that be a thing eBay seldom allows?

    • +3

ebay codes never stack. you can use it for best offers though

      • Cool, thanks.

I've got two eBay accounts. The nz one never gets any of these promos :(

    • +2

Perhaps because these are exclusive to eBay Australia?

      • +1

Edit: nz one never gets any promos.

  • +3

Happy Birthday Donald. Best of luck for the year ahead; you're gonna need it.

      • +1

He doesn't need luck. He has Russian hackers, a large budget and Facebook on his side.

        • Fake News ;).

So loving that the FBI is laying charges against Russian companies and people now. Only a matter of time until they knock on Dumb Dumb's house.

        • @UFO: He will just fire the FBI if they get close to having a case against him.
He has power and money, so he can pretty much do anything.

        • +1

and yet you have 24/7 365 anti potus tv, print, hollywood smear, social media bots feeding the masses, law enforcement agencies going after him and anyone associated with him and covering up for everyone else and yet he's still winning politically. whats going on comrades, what happened to the resistance?

maybe hillary was right when she was heard screaming at nbc 'if I lose, we all go down and that fascist f* will have us swinging from nooses". scary times ahead.

        • +2

THe americans dont need to invent bogey men even russian hackers, their country is full of idiots using facebook.

        • @jubjub69: He won the default vote. I don't blame them, Hillary was/is a corrupt cow so it's really the lesser of 2 evils isn't it. She's probably a bit smarter though so would have done thing's a little more charismatically, though not necessarily with any more pure intentions than old duffus has been.

        • @UFO:
please don't mock low info welfare recipients like UFO and congngo.

          Get's "news" from the TV
          then calls other people stupid.

        • @ClimateBoogeyman:

You're referring to me in both the 1st and 3rd person, in the same sentence, and you're calling me a stupid welfare recipient?

Oooooo K then. Good luck in your life buddy, I'm sure its all going to work out fine.

        • @UFO:
The fact that you don't get it doesn't surprise me at all.

          low IQ too.

      • Just like the impeachment he got last year right?
lol it just takes one guys username to get you all triggered into an echo chamber. hilarious!

        • +1

I don't see anyone being "triggered", but I'm glad you seem so happy in your delusions :). Let the hilarity flow mate, because I know Trump has been awesome for that since day one.

          https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Triggered

        • @UFO:

if someone had a name obama3, hillary3, bernie3 here and commented on a bargain and a group of alt righters had a circle jerk about their name I would call it equally sad. the only evident delusion seen everywhere is trump derangement delusion sadly.

        • +5

          @jubjub69:

Funny that my name has nothing to do with Trump. I am neither a fan or hater of him. Just happen I choose this name at random.

        • Covfefe!

  • Is 10% a lot?

    • +14

slightly more than 9%, but not as good as 15 or 20%

    • +1

you would save $2 on a $20 purchase…. but yeah I feel ya, the folks on ozb go mad for ebay codes.

  • I was eyeing for an airport but man despite using the 10% off coupon the price still works out to be the same as retail

    • +2

you want to buy an airport? where are you going to put it?

      • +2

        Badgerys Creek?

      • +1

Ops, sorry I meant airpods. Damn you autocorrect!!!

        • +1

Get a better sounding wireless HP. AirPods are not worth the money.

        • +1

No, please buy an airport, then build a trainline from the CBD

  • +2

time to sign up 26 ebay accounts with birthdays all 2 weeks apart!

    • you dont even need 26 emails, just use a single gmail and insert full stops in different places. Ebay will think they are "separate" emails but they will all be routed to your one gmail.

    • Be careful, only sign up to ebay once a day or two. I tried to sign up 3 accounts in a row. first 2 went through and the 2nd one was automatically banned 5 minutes later.

  • If you're 29 Feb kid, you're screwed.

    • +2

Feb 29 kids age only once in 4 years

  • My bday was on the 16th, I didn't get one? :(

  • Looks like there will be a lot of deals for those born on 1st of Jan :)

  • They used to give me a $10 or $20 voucher for b/day. I can't remember which it was. Probably $10.

  • You have to get targeted to use a birthday promo.
Happy birthday guys and here's a token of our appreciation, except for you you suck

  • +1

gonna be lots of discounting on 1st of jan every year

  • Never see codes in any ebay email, then again, I never load remote images. Their emails are just header, some blank squares and footer.

Are these promo codes visible somewhere under the my account area?

  • Its my birthday today and i have no 10% off?

    • Happy Birthday!

    • happy birthday :)

    • Happy belated birthday!

  • Can you someone pls tell me where to put my bday?

  • -1

Anyone got a code they can pm me if not using?

    • that's not the way it works. it's tied with your account

  • +1

When do you guys think m eBay will run another 10% off storewide ?

    • Want to know too

  • This 10% birthday code is only for longtime ebay users. Back then I believe you had to enter your birthday, recent registrations don't require that.

  • Is the email sent on the day of your birthday?

    • +1

no. I got mine about 10 days before

  • So my birthday is 22 feb… got nothing

  • I got nothing for my bday …

    :(

  • My birthday is next week, never seen a birthday offer from ebay, been a member since 2004, but not sure I ever gave them the correct b'day…

Unfortunately there's no way to check. Already looked into it.

    • You can contact ebay and they will check it and fix it for you. They removed they option to change it a few years ago. I just got mine fixed as I have never got one either.

  • Got this today, thanks OP!

  • This is bullshit. I didn't get a code and apparently according to CSO they are "randomly generated" and they weren't able to generate one for me. Definitely going to cancel eBay Plus before renewal, I think.

  • Yeah I just spoke to CSO (as today is my birthday) and they confirmed my birthday was already in the system (in fact I found an email from eBay mid December saying my birthday was around the corner - but no discount code mentioned)

They too confirmed thats the 10% promo is randomly selected by the system. My eBay account was set up in 2008 so over 10 years ago.

    • During the convo with the CSO above, I said I was looking at buying around $300 worth of stuff, hence wanting the 10% discount.
They said they could not give 10% promo, however instead could give me a $30 voucher, to use within 1 month.

Due to high shipping costs, I didnt end up buying the $300 of stuff via eBay (bought it direct from the same store, and picked up).
However the $30 voucher remained on my account - and had no min spend !!
I bought a $35 bottle of Baileys Irish Cream from 1st Choice for $5 difference… so thanks eBay. Was a good birthday present after all.

Its possible they did this because I am an eBay Plus member…
Its worth chatting to the Live Chat people to see if they can help.

  • I received 5 free listings :/

  • +1

Hi, I was told by ebay staff through chat that this offer is no longer being offered by ebay :(

  • Long time ebay user. No birthday email or anything this year. Guess it's over.
