Sorry, don't know much about TVs but how does this compare to the Hisense 65N7?

Well you don't know tv but you heard about samsung right? So samsung vs what sense? You get the point, I think.

      • It does not work this way mate…

        • I think it does in this case though

@voldemort: yeah he doesn't know samsung is bigger than Apple profucing from chip to war ship just google it.

      • Umm, wow. Facepalm.

What does that have to do with the quality of the panel used, the features offered (processing, inputs, hdr, anti-glare, sound, etc), the price to performance ratio, and many other factors?

Sounds like you make really educated buying decisions mate. Have fun with your Samsung everything.

  • just note this tv has this thing called CE dimming and you cannot turn it off unless you tell the tv the output is something like pc CE dimming cant be turned off and is really annoying any dark scenes the tv will auto dim making some scenes hard to see even when in a dark room if i knew about this would have not bought the 55 version of this tv

  • You are right dark scenes have some issues but software and hardware are much better than hisence

  • I ended up with the hisense 65n7 instead of this. Picture quality just seemed better, and with longer warranty seemed like a no brainer

    • yeah if i knew about the dark image issues i would have gotten the hisense bit of a impulse buy for the 55 model whats more sad is that a week later the deal was cheaper by about 120 from the ebay discounts :( oh well have not seen the hisense image in person but hearing great things from other people

      • Yeah I went into Jb with heart set on Samsung… Then saw the hisense. Sold
In the end you will get used to whatever TV you have and none of will seem like an issue
