    Inca Tripod

So this is the same one used by the Incas?

  • I have this exact one apparently and it's pretty alright. Has lasted me many years but is definitely in need of replacement now. Decent features for that price for sure.

    • how much was it?

is this a good price ?

      weighs 1 kg ?

      • I got mine free with a camera purchase but iirc it was ~$70 at HN back around '09.

For the features this has? Yes. Three part extendable legs, hanging hook, carry handle, tilt/spin controls and tensioners, ability to flip the camera vertically and an extendable head. All pretty decent.

Less than 1KG I'd guess but don't quote me.

          Couldn't resist

      How is the Camera?

      • +1

Camera is good but it doesn't come with the tripod unfortunately :P

  • Wouldn't trust an expensive camera on these things.

    • Inca tripods I've owned haven't been bad actually. I've been using them for about 10 years. Don't expect the rock solid stability of a more expensive carbon fiber model, but I've been careful and not had it fail in a way that I have worried about my camera. At this price point you treat these as disposable once it breaks.

Edit: Just checked and mine is a 3550, so larger and more suited to DSLR.

  • Thanks, but how did you get free delivery? mine shows 9.95 for delivery.

    • Same. Is it a WA thing?

  • I am not getting free delivery, cost is $9.95

You do get a $10.00 voucher code for signing up to club ted, but it is not stackable.

OP can you update deal details please.

    • so, don't need to sign up the membership then ?
